Cockcrow

Stepping out of my doorway every dawn, All dew in joyfulness looks upon me With its lips so full and eyes so charming To make me more delightful than the recent past Like my lady who in her sizzling spell With her touchy-feely smile opens my day. I see in it, her love which I long to preserve Over the day all beside me intact With the feelings not to fade before the sun. The breezy breeze teases me in gentleness, Tickling my silky hairs to make it frizzy And the cockcrow so dear and welcoming Like the way she whispers to wake me up With her digits on my head in softness That causes my mind to dance in felicity, Over a cup to twaddle for fruitful beginning. The minutes and the sun then impinge on So fast, to end the moment so different, I grow moody for I will be apart till sunset. While in bath, alone with water I say a prayer Cursing both, not to be the source of dissent That melts emotions at hand so honorable, But to arrive at the end of the long day.
