RECRUITERS OF THE MONTH Gina Bartley wrote, “Recruiter of the Month for April 2021 is a TIE! Elisha Thornton and Alanna Weins competed till the end! Both of these ladies have been in the spotlight for Recruiter of the Month and will share and reap the benefits of being the best! WHATEVER IT TAKES SPENCER PAULEC NOMINATED TYLER LAY FOR THE MAY WHATEVER IT TAKES AWARD
Spencer said, “Tyler is always helpful to anyone in the shop who needs it!” Tyler was presented with a trophy, a “Whatever It Takes” designated parking space in front of the building, and a $50 QuikTrip gas card. He will also have the honor of naming next month’s WIT winner.
Tyler Preston wrote, “This will make Jenn the winner 4 months in a row! Congratulations Jenn! I was getting a bit bored with the 5 different categories we’ve been using to nominate the DM of the month – so I’m expanding it to also include more metrics on your fleet. Next round will include Joe and Doug – so the full team will be eligible for the nomination! Let’s see who can knock Jenn off her horse!”
Kevin Miller
Jenn Heisley nominated Kevin Miller. Jenn said, “Kevin has been with JCT since 2012 and has been a huge asset to our company. He is always willing to help do anything we ask of him and very willing to school other drivers to become as successful as he is. Kevin is very loyal to the JCT brand and very loyal to myself, I can always count on him! Kevin, thank you for all you do out there and thank you for all your years of service with us we appreciate you! Keep doing what you do best and that’s DRIVE!!!!”
Charles Turner
Keenan Ahlfield nominated Charles Turner. Keenan said, “Charles is a very hard driver and gets to where he needs to be on time and does not complain when we need him for a favor. He is the type of drive that will go the extra mile to ensure his success as well as the success of JCT. He is a very understand and easy-going person. Thank you for all you do Charles.”
Brian Lee
Sean Layman nominated Brian Lee. Sean said, “Brian is a great driver and friend. He not only puts down the miles, but also knows how work his business and make others laugh. It’s a true joy to work with him.”
Armando Salgado
Russ Harlow nominated Armando Salgado. Russ said, “Armando, is a great driver and has above par communication skills. Since Armando has come on to my board, we have made a great deal of success. Armando is easy and fun to work with. He always knows his clock and when anything is out of the ordinary, we are getting it discussed and fixed. Recently before the DOT Blitz had a picked up a drop and hook trailer at consignee, without knowing the next load he replaced several tires that look worn and old and next day was on a load. Low and behold within the first drive shift, he was pulled over on a back road and passed a level 1 inspection. Thank you, Armando, for your continued efforts as you deserve Driver of the Month.”

Brian Stewart nominated Cris White. Brian said, “He is coming up on his 6-month anniversary and hasn’t taken any time off. Been out there knocking out the miles and has delivered everything on time with a great attitude.”

Amye Alvarez nominated Scott Zane. Amye said, “Scott always does an amazing job of keeping me updated with what is going on with him. He has been with JCT for 3 years now and is always a very dependable driver.”
Drew Fitch
Dale Smith nominated Drew Fitch. Dale said, “Drew always does a great job on the road, never had any issues with him or the way he works. He takes charge & does what must be done to keep a load moving while keeping it safe & compliant. He’s always willing to help with swaps or drop loads & I appreciate that very much. This is one driver that I would like to see stick around with us for a long time even after his truck is paid off.”
Les Curtis
Hollie Taylor nominated Les Curtis. Hollie said, “Les is an amazing driver. He goes above and beyond. He is always on time and always willing to help with on time deliveries. Thank you Les, for all that you do!!”

Jorge and Leticia Romo
Ryan Smoot nominated Jorge and Leticia Romo. Ryan said, “I could not ask for a better husband/wife team!! The positive attitude that both Jorge and Leticia have every day brightens up my day every time I speak with this team. Tom Cowan nominated Shawni and Roman Campbell. Tom said, “This team does very well. They communicate well. They deliver loads on time. They help rescue late loads. They are good at trip planning. I am very glad to have a team like this one. Thanks to both of you.”
Philip Quesada
Charles Richards nominated Philip Quesada. Charles said, “He consistently is a very good driver, makes on time delivers and pickups, repairs trailers when they need repaired and he communicates very well with any issues that may pop up out there. He has always been reliable and has been a pleasure to work with.”
Keith Crompton
Josh Muskrat nominated Keith Crompton. Josh said, “Keith has been with JCT just over a year. During that time, he’s quietly become a top notch JCT driver. He does he job and does it well. Very easy to work with and knows how and what it takes to get the job done. Excellent communication, no late deliveries. One of the top runners for the month! Appreciate Keith and all that he does!”

MEET MICHAEL WILSON
Dereck grew up in a family of truckers so it’s no surprise that he’s found himself in the industry. He came to JCT because all the JCT drivers he’s spoken to love it here. When asked why he drives he said, “I do it for my family before I do it for myself.”
Michael came to JCT for our lease purchase program. He did his research and decided that we have the best offers that will set him up for success. His motto is, “Safety is number 1.”
MEET RED SHARLEY AND BECCA HOPPER This team came to JCT through word of mouth. They find success OTR by staying productive and keeping the door of the truck shut!
MEET CANDICE BREWER Candice came to JCT through word of mouth while OTR. When asked how she finds success on the road she said, “Stay safe, be productive, stay healthy, and keep your eyes on the road.”

Adam Templeton’s daughter, Piper, was accepted to the inaugural class of the Vanguard Academy of Broken Arrow Public Schools where she will complete a three-year project-based STEM program. Her parents are quite proud.
