Francesca woodman was a American photographer who was born on April 3rd 1958 and died on January 19th 1981. Francesca woodman used her self and female models in her work and 99% or the Dme they were stark naked but with moDon blur or there faces missing due to long exposure. Me myself am a very big fan of her work because I can see much emoDon in her work and I connect with this style of photography. Sadly at the age of 22 she commiKed Suicide, but this only reinvented her work and her work will live on for ever in the public eye.

The 1st Dme I ever saw Francesca's work I was very interested in finding out why she took and edited her photos how she did. Then I found out she killed her self and I think that really shows in her work. I like these 3 photos I picked of hers because I really like the exposure and where the models are place in the shot.

I believe this photo wasn’t edited and made black and white. Judging by the fashion this is an old photo from the 70’s what may have been taken in black and white. There isn’t a lot going on in this photo what makes me think, why was this photo taken? Are they a band? Or just people in the street?

This is a unknown photographer and this photo has no name but I really like the style of it and the fact its in black and white. You can tell this photo is taken around the 70s because the subject has punk rock on his hands.

Slr and film cameras, what’s different? An SLR camera is for more easier and safe to take photos with than using an old film camera. With an SLR you can just look down the lens and take a photo and have a look when its done, and if you don’t like them u cn delete them and start again as many Dmes as you want. But with a film camera you have to make sure your photo is perfect and spend a good few mins lining up your photo and checking all the sebngs are right. Once the photo is taken you have to wait enDll you pay to get them developed in the shop, so they may come out bad and to exposed and un usable.
