We moved our Florida base to John’s Island from further south, and did so with some trepidation because of the very different character of the Vero Beach area…

We fell in love with the extraordinary facilities at John’s Island and the variety of Club activities, as well as the natural beauty....over the course of the very first ten days in our house we discovered that John’s Island is much, much, more than we had hoped. Yes, the golf courses, the tennis courts, the Beach Club and the dining facilities are wonderful. Yes, the staff at the fitness center and elsewhere are friendly and responsive. The food is excellent. The ocean is turquoise and magnificent.

What has most surprised us is the extraordinary friendliness of the members we’ve met...The sense of welcome is palpable.... I cannot say we already feel like we’ve been here forever, but I can say that we feel we’ll be a strong part of the community in a relatively short time-frame, and that makes this a very special place.
