PASTOR CHRISTOPHER L. & LADY TAMRA L. ROGERS
Grace and peace be multiplied to each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
On the occasion of our 2nd Pastoral Anniversary, which is reflective of the partnership between pastor and people, we give all glory, honor, and praise to our sovereign God. It is only by His grace and guidance that we stand today, reflecting on the journey thus far and rejoicing in the fruit that has been born through obedience to His call.
As our theme declares from John 15:4–8 (ESV):
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ... By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."
These words remind us that the lasting fruitfulness in ministry is not the result of human effort alone, but of divine connection. As we have sought to abide in Christ, He has remained faithful, strengthening us, stretching us, and sustaining us.
To our beloved faith family at First Baptist Church of Chesterfield, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you for your love, prayers, patience, and partnership in the work of ministry. Your support has made this journey both meaningful and joyful. To our family and friends who have stood with us in love and intercession, thank you for your encouragement and steadfast presence.
We also wish to express special appreciation to our servant leaders, ministry teams, and volunteers. Your labor in the vineyard of the Lord has not gone unnoticed. As the Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV):
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
As we look ahead, our hearts remain surrendered to God's will, trusting that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. May we continue to bear fruit that glorifies God; fruit that remains, multiplies, and blesses generations to come.
With heartfelt love and gratitude, PastorChristopherL.Rogers,Sr.&LadyTamraL.Rogers
