Michelle es una chica de 14 años, hija del conserje de PINY, Pinypon Institute of New York, una prestigiosa e innovadora institución dedicada a la enseñanza de la moda, el diseño, la música.... Michelle, ha crecido soñando con ser una alumna más de este instituto. Gracias a una inesperada e insólita beca, su mayor deseo se va a hacer realidad. El azar y la rivalidad con las Beautiful People desde el primer día de clase, la llevará a integrarse en el grupo de las Indie Girls. Pero la mayor sorpresa está por llegar: ¡tiene una hermana y comparten Instituto!
Son chicos normales que estudian, entrenan, aprenden y se relacionan entre ellos. Tienen los problemas habituales de cualquier niño de su edad. Son una pandilla que solo quiere divertirse y crecer para un día hacerse mayores y cumplir sueños. A través de ellos descubriremos un mundo moderno y divertido, en el que las nuevas tecnologías parecen ser un personaje más. A veces son elementos muy útiles y otras veces se convierten en un verdadero problema.
Michelle is the 14-year-old daughter of the janitor of the PINY (the Pinypon Institute of New York), an elite high school that gives its wunderkinds cutting-edge instruction in fashion, design and the performing arts. Michelle has always dreamed of becoming a PINY girl. And she will get a scholarship. Her wish is about to come true. A rivalry sparks off on the very first day of class with Beautiful People girls but Michelle finds herself being welcomed into the Indie Chic girls. But an even bigger surprise lies in store: She has a sister and she’s in the same school as her!
