With the next phase of the Jewish Long Beach Build for Our Future Capital Campaign comes the highly anticipated Mary Alpert Pool & Hillinger Family Pool Deck refurbishment. We are pleased to announce that construction will occur from Fall 2024 through Summer 2025. During this time, all aquatic activities will be put on hiatus. The last day of swimming will be Monday, September 2. Details for a community groundbreaking ceremony this Fall will be announced shortly. We anticipate a grand reopening for Memorial Day Weekend 2025. (Exact reopening date TBD and subject to change.)

Come Summer 2025, the Mary Alpert Pool & Hillinger Family Pool Deck will be the ultimate aquatic retreat for members and guests of all ages, rekindling a special place for families and friends to make lifelong memories and connections.

A reimagined home for Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Shabbat Dinners by the Pool, Havdallah under the stars, and year-round memories. Get excited for some new features, including some highly-requested amenities, such as new pool deck furniture, picnic lawn, BBQ grills, hot tub, and so much more!

Remember, your membership dues support the mission-driven work of Jewish Long Beach and sustain meaningful capital projects like this for future generations.
