Ways to Give Back

The Philanthropy Department of the Jewish Alliance raises money to support Jewish life in Rhode Island, in Israel, and across the globe. We deliver more than 300 programs and services worldwide as we honor the Jewish values of compassion, generosity, and responsibility. To keep our community strong, we sustain the people who make it great, through every stage of life. Together, we give our children an excellent education that is built on a solid foundation of Jewish identity. We share Jewish culture so that who we are as a people will remain valued and relevant. We take care of the most vulnerable among us, including our seniors, by providing meals and emergency funding. We continue to fight anti-Semitism across the globe and assist Jewish communities facing turbulence and upheaval such as those in the Ukraine and Cuba. In all of these ways and more, we are making a difference in the world.

As swimmers advance, they participate in safety tests to demonstrate their proficiency in their ability and technique. TigerSharks Swim Academy is a year-round program with no sessions; therefore, students may join swim lessons at any time. All our lessons are 30 minutes long, once a week. Consistency is one of the most important factors that lead to becoming proficient and gaining confidence in the water. • Pups (Tots) lessons (Maximum: 8 per class) • Group (Maximum: 4 per class) •Semi-Group/Semi-Private Lessons (Maximum: 2 per class) • Private Lessons TigerSharks Swim Academy Hours: Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm Monday 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Girls ONLY 7:00 - 8:00pm Tuesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Boys ONLY 7:00 - 8:00pm Wednesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Girls ONLY 7:00 - 8:00pm Thursday 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Boys ONLY 7:00 - 8:00pm Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm
