Also released in January, the EUROPA Underwater Fauna and Flora stamp issue with souvenir miniature sheet brings Jersey’s underwater world to life with captivating images from local cold water swimmer and photographer Nicola Miskin.
Issued in February, Jersey Post & Go - The flag of Jersey revisits the first ever Jersey Post & Go issue in order to feature the new monarch his Majesty King Charles III.

LUNAR NEW YEAR: YEAR OF THE DRAGON
Chinese culture, golden dragons represent power and are associated with powerful deities and harvests.
The miniature sheet shows a black dragon, flying through the sky. The unique appearance of Chinese dragons was theorised by Chinese historian and philosopher Wang Fu to be a combination of animals. Scholars have suggested these are a representation of the unification of the different tribes that existed in China.

JERSEY Post & Go - THE FLAG OF Jersey
In 2008, Royal Mail were the first to trial a new generation of self-service postage stamps, Post & Go, which was introduced by Jersey Post in 2014. The Jersey flag was featured on the first Jersey issue on the 19 February 2014. Revisiting the 2014 issue, our new Post & Go designs are brought up to date with the addition of the cipher of the new monarch, His Majesty King Charles III.
The flag of Jersey itself features a red saltire, a heraldic symbol in the form of a diagonal cross, on top of a white field. In the upper quadrant is Jersey’s crest; the three leopards of Normandy and the yellow Plantagenet crown in yellow on a red shield. Unofficially, a plain red saltire had been used on the Jersey flag since at least the 1830s. In 1906, a letter by the Bailiff of Jersey described the flag as ‘the red St Andrew’s cross on white ground,’ stating it was used to signal the neutrality of the Channel Islands during wars between England and France. The crest of Jersey was added in 1981 to help distinguish it further.
Technical details: Flag illustration by True North. Stamps printed digitally by Cartor Security Printers Ltd, UK. Indicia and location identifier thermally printed within a Series II Post & Go machine. Stamp die size: 25mm deep x 56mm wide. Simulated perforations. Stamp products © Jersey Post Ltd 2024.
Jersey Celebrating 200 Years of the RNLI
For 200 years, RNLI lifesavers have shown courage, selflessness and innovation to keep thousands of people safe. Today’s RNLI crews, lifeguards and water safety campaigners are saving more people, in more ways.
Jersey Post celebrates 200 Years of the RNLI with a six stamp issue that delves into the history of RNLI in Jersey, tracing its roots back to 1830 with a volunteer team and a boat, kept near Havre des Pas. The stamps feature key moments in the Island’s RNLI history, from the rescue of the yacht Fanny, to the Tamar-class RNLB George Sullivan, which features Corbière Lighthouse in the background, symbolising safety and technology standards.
Other stamps portray the RNLI lifeguards at La Braye Beach, RNLB Howard D (one of the fastest lifeboats in the fleet), the Atlantic 85 RNLB Eric W Wilson, and a portrait of the RNLI founder, Sir William Hillary. A Prestige Stamps Booklet will be available with the issue. The booklet includes three panes of stamps from the issue and offers additional insights into Jersey RNLI, creating a comprehensive and informative tribute to the work they do.
