Samuel L. Dixon, Jr., a beloved son, father, and friend, was born on May 22, 1968, to the late Reverend Samuel Dixon, Sr., and Mrs. Lois J. Dixon. He passed away on August 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
From a young age, Samuel embraced his faith in Christ, a guiding light that shone brightly throughout his life. His warmth and kindness touched everyone he met, making him a cherished member of his family and community.
Samuel is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Lois J. Dixon, and his daughters Iyana, Jessica Dixon, Alisha Dixon, and Carol Norman (Daryl). His sister, Carol Mazique, also holds him close in her heart.
Though he was preceded in death by his sons, Samuel Dixon, III, and Justin Dixon, as well as his sisters Tracey Dixon and Stacey Dixon, Samuel’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his five grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who adored him.
Samuel’s life was a testament to love, faith, and the enduring bonds of family. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
