JenniferNashxoxoKORAY CAMGÖZ, WHO OVERSEES MARKETING, COMMUNICATIONS, EVENTS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS, IS LEAVING THE ORGANISATION AFTER MORE THAN THREE YEARS.
LONDON — Koray Camgöz, the Public Relations and Communications Association’s (PRCA) director of communications and marketing, will leave the association in April this year.
Camgöz joined the PRCA in 2019 as head of communications and marketing – replacing Matt Cartmell, who left to set up his own B2B marcomms consultancy, Carta Communications – before being promoted to director a year later when his responsibilities were extended to events and public affairs.
A key member of the senior management team, Camgöz led the PRCA’s crisis response to the pandemic in 2020 and has shaped the association’s approach on policy issues from diversity, equity and inclusion –including being instrumental in the launch of the Race and Ethnicity Equity Board – and climate change.
Being featured in publications, podcasts or awards is one of the best ways to build a strong trust, a credible reputation and being known, seen, and recognised as an expert by your potential clients. Our exclusive Spotlight platforms gives you unparalleled access to global audience, and unlimited exposure while simultaneously improving the visibility of your brand. We now have the Native Ad Features as seen on Hayley's Soul Centred CEO Ad!
Koray has played a large part in the success and growth of the PRCA since he joined, and has been integral in driving some critical initiatives. He is very highly-regarded, internally and externally – deservedly so – and will be much missed. I wish him the greatest success with his next chapter. The departure will be a significant loss to the leadership of the PRCA, which is currently going through both a governance review and a complaints investigation relating to the conduct of director general Francis Ingham.
Camgöz’ next move is not yet known. He told PRovoke Media: “It’s been an incredible journey and I couldn’t be more proud of what my colleagues and I have achieved in the past few years. From our award-winning crisis response to the pandemic, to the changes we championed on DEI, our work will have a lasting impact.
I’m enormously grateful to my colleagues for their support, and I wish the association every success in its future.
The HML Foundation was registered as an NGO in 2017 by Jennifer and Tim Nash after operating as a personal project aimed at Saving Lusaka Libraries since 2006.
The foundation aims has since continued on that path to save or offer alternative public & community spaces through pop up libraries. We're constantly looking for Public-Private Partnership capacity building on ideas to excel the 2030 SDGs 4, 8, 9 & 11 with and for the people of Zambia.
We've since depended on rented spaces to host pop-up libraries, however, in 2020 this was no
longer possible due to the pandemic, we realised we needed to have our own space to keep us sustainable and pandemic proof.
Therefore, we need to raise c£1,000,000 GBP for our ambitious plan to work with Jannou Africa Group - a developer working with us to build new community library to complement existing poorly managed public infrastructures as an alternative modern facility with broad band connectivity and amenities.
he 2017/18 agenda focused on Libraries - with the belief that a library should remain as a public seat of knowledge, resource and
wisdom We still believe fundamentally that a library should by right be a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing.
It should provide a physical or digital access to material in a physical building or room or a virtual space or both. Preferably and traditionally a building in the case of a Library.
The HML Foundation is working with Ark & Brook, a PR agency founded by Jennifer Nash to continue her work with other like minded Female Entrepreneurs, through the Global Ignite Vision Awards platform, working with these individuals or organisations.
The mission is to have Female Entrepreneurs to immortalize their legacy by becoming a friend of HML Foundation - so you can help create the future digital hub of information and resource with your names etched in our WINDOWS OF CHANGE
Together we can build a new iconic library for Lusaka. Our City. Our Library.
