Quarter One is been a busy and Buzzing quarter for all of

facet.

memorable quarter for me as an Area Chairperson.

My Theme and Vision of the year is 365 DAYS, and for sure Chairpersons and Area Conveners are doing their best to make the most of the time we all have. A Big shout out to them. Wishing everyone all the best and my complete support for the upcoming quarter.

The Bold Type (AFCs) started the year with a bang with engaging circlers with The Meme Competition between the circlers and also planning Twinning fellowship along with

Area Twinklers Convenor being super active this year, planning Twinkler Activity every month for our Area Twinkler to do from home and sending out gifts to the winner to encourage them. On 15th Aug a story telling session was arranged for twinklers with Pragi Aunty with was attended in good numbers. Looking forward for Cr. Fiona & Cr. Kousalaya upcoming activities planned for our Kutty Twinklers.

Instagram pages regurally. At the start of the year ‘Don’t hesitate. Let’s Vaccinate’ Photo frame was been made for social platforms which was been used by almost all circlers of Area 2. To mark 75th Independence Day Video was launched to educate millions of people with different dialects about work done by Ladies Circle India. n Our

Our Shine Girl Cr. Akanshya, launched pro talks videos by women entrepreneurs of different business domain from circling world and outside the circling fraternity to share their success stories with all the circlers of area 2. It was a fresh outlook for Shine facet and I am sure these videos would have encouraged and helped a lot of circlers with their businesses.

Cr. Sakshi has encouraged and helped area 2 circlers to send out articles for National Rendezvous magazine total of 41 articles are sent out so far for the same.

our Area Regalia Convenor has always encouraged circle regalia convers to make purchases of regalia products be it for their personal use or circling project. We as area have purchased worth Rs35,337/- of regalia products.

Another Feather on our cap is that finally our area is extending in Pondi. MMLC 4 has already finished 2 contact meeting for the new circle and soon they will be part of our Area2 Family. I encourage circlers to look out for extensions in our area with over 20+ tables we have lot of scope for extensions

Girls pls always remember "What is yours today, was someone else's yesterday and will be somebody else's tomorrow" so let these jewels and titles not take away from us what we actually are because when the jewels and titles are been taken away, we will be left with our beautiful Circling Family- SO let’s invest in relationships these 365 days

Dearest friends, It gives me immense pleasure in releasing the Quarter 1 report of Area 2 to you all.

Growth and service, friendship and cooperation mark the work of circlers and it is a privilege to be a part of this momentous organization as the Area Secretary Treasure of our dynamic Area 2 this year who has left no stone unturned to reach out & bring out joy into the lives of others. I am humbled and grateful for this opportunity.

It’s truly heartwarming to go through the minutes, reports, pictures of each circle.

Each facet of circling has been taken to great heights with innovative initiatives and commitments by all circles adapting to these times and now to see everyone meet each other physically brings a smile and cheer for good times ahead.

QUARTER 1 HIGHLIGHTS

MLC 2 We started the first day of the year with fellowship.

Felcons started the year with a bang!

Warm up session on the long silent what's app group with Riddles on 1st July.

Superb participation of 9 circlers. Cr. Monika Giri won with maximum answers. All thanks to the National Felcons MJ (their riddles were much enjoyed).

On 9th July, we had our first virtual fellowship Kuch Healthy Ho Jaye, we paired up the circlers, asked them to exchange salad, met virtually on zoom and had a good time chatting, sharing recipes and eating healthy.

On 14th July, We had an Ice pops party virtually hosted by Cr. Ritu Khanna, popsicle party with a twist, she sent across ice pops and yummy treats to be enjoyed by the circlers during the fellowship. What a fun it was to relive the childhood days!

We then planned a 10K Walk Challenge for 10 days for the circlers from Aug 1 to Aug 10. Twist was they should atleast walk once physically with a friend or join the virtual walk fellowship planned. Circlers who participated wanted to continue this challenge forever 😃

On Aug 5, We planned the virtual walk on zoom, we shared Leslie Sansone's video and had circlers walking along virtually with each other, And for those who completed the challenge we sent them a foot soak 😉 From 16 to 21 Aug, we gave the circlers a SelfCare /Love Bingo activity to do which involved from workout, movie, salad, dessert to meeting a circler and having a chat to date with husband. Crux being making the heart body and soul happy 💕 Tip Tip barsa pani : Rainy evening with a hot cup of tea , yummy Samosa , Friends and a fun filled Dumb Charades game ..this was exactly what MLC2 did on 22nd September.. Cr.Monika sent them a cup and Samosa’s to enjoy the dumb charades game planned virtually. 8 Circlers attended the virtual fun. Tip Tip Barsa Pani fellowship truly rained fun.

We also had joint table and circle movie and dessert fellowship. We had done total 8 fellowships till date.

The Twinklers of MLC2 had a great time learning Origami art by Tw. Ashwika.

MLC2 organised a fun table ettiquette workshop for twinklers of area 2 and nationals and their friends which was conducted by Ms. Sana Chopra. It was an interactive and informative session where the kids learnt setting a table as well as table manners. We had kids joining in from dubai as well. It was a great event.

So far we have done total 14 projects. We have done projects together with area, other circles and table as well. Total cost of projects is Rs.83369.

We have done Say No To Plastic and Don’t hesitate and get vaccinated publicity on facebook and Instagram.

Total 10 national rendezvous initiatives is been sent.

We also had LAPD session of google calender by Cr. Divya Chetan. 💰Money Matters💰 New year, new beginnings...

Budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went Together with Cr.Monika Giri, the budget for the upcoming year was planned and finalized. It was then shared with all Circlers of MLC2 and approved by them as well.

The AMF payments were done and Google form duely submitted on 14th August.

Area dues were also paid.

We had successfully initiated the process of registering MLC2 as a Trust. Once the process is completed, we plan to move forward with the application of 12A and 80G form certifications.

Life is like accounting, everything must be balanced 💰 We are very happy and proud that Cr. Divya Chetan contested the election for the post of VACP for area 2 and won the same.

Cr. Divya Chetan and Cr. Shweta Nahar has also received president recognisation pins.

We also had our very first physical social of this year. Overall we started the year with a great and fun loving activities with the great bonding.

MMLC 4 We at LC4 have had a fun and productive first quarter. After having an amazing AGM in “her royal highness” style and cheering the Tablers at their AGM too, we kicked things off with a quick girls trip to goa where we unwound and relaxed.

Once we were rejuvenated, the Circlers in LC4 jumped into projects jointly with Table as well as Circles around the country and more fellowships will full gusto.

We had the amazing opportunity to meet all the members from the National board during the COB held in Chennai.

Chartering a Circle is a rare opportunity that has come for us and we are happy to report that we have completed 2 contact meetings with the prospective members of PHRT167. With a fun filled, yet calm Quarter in LC4, we look forward to the next.

MMLC 7 The last three months have been a fun roller coaster ride for MMLC 7. Starting with our first meeting on the 4th of July to our fourth and last meeting for this quarter on the on the 24th of September in Rishikesh, we’ve had a blast in the first quarter.

The year started off with the first physical meeting for the year with the AGM, with an 80’s theme. It set the note for the year, and we’ve been lucky to have met in person several times in the last three months.

The highlight for the first quarter was our fundraiser ‘Fix your mix’. It was a unique fundraiser where participants were taught to make 3 cocktails and 3 mocktails. The highlight of the event was the ‘Mix Boxes’ that were sent to the participants. It carried all the mixers needed to make the cocktails along with peg measures, and a beautiful cocktail shakers. The circlers met several times to meet for planning and putting together of this fundraiser. We raised Rs 52000/- through ticket sales.

Come September we celebrated the wedding of Tr. Ashwath, to Kaavya. The practice sessions for the sangeet and the sangeet itself was a memorable experience for all. It was then the time for out Table-Circle fellowship trip to Rishikesh! It was wonderful with so many activities planned for the kids, and adults. We stayed at a property on the banks of the Ganges and indulged in white water rafting while the children tried their hand at Kayaking. Watching the Aarthi was a divine experience while over all it was a brilliant week spent with the most amazing company.

Over all the first quarter saw a staggering 11 fellowships, 1 outstation trip, 10 projects, 1 fundraiser and 2 twinkler events.

PRLC 47 PROJECTS 1. COVID 19 RELIEF - Isolation centre Bahor, pondicherry. This is the joint project of Pondicherry Rivage Round Table 104, Pondicherry Rivage Ladies Circle 47, the Amount of 30000 Donation were received and given for this project .

2. CRIMSON PROJECT Donated sanitary napkins. Donation value - 629. No of beneficiaries – 500

3. ADULT DIAPER DONATION -Honorary Twinkle Gupta were donated the adult diaper to Indira Gandhi Kadirkamam Hospital pondicherry. Donation value : 4500

4. FOOD DONATION- Cr Deepthi Did a project to orphanage in Nellore Food for 25 old people at Janani old age home Donation value : 5000.

5. KIDS DIAPER DONATION - Cr Rukmani Ananthanarayanan has 40 unused diaper for 2 kids . Donation value 16000 and location: Banglore

6. TABLET DONATION -Cr Rukmani Ananthanarayanan donated Tablet to needy .

Location: pondicherry. Donation value:12000 No of beneficiaries -1

7. BOOKS DONATION - Cr Rukmani Ananthanarayanan donated 12th STD books to needy. Location: pondicherry, donation value : 2000. No of beneficiaries - 1

8. GUIDE DONATION - Guide Gowri and lectures of PEC . bought guides for 10th STD students. Project total cost - Rs.17000. No. Of kids- 17 Place - Government higher secondary school, peravur

9. AREA 2 JOIN PROJECT: 200 packs (1000) sanitary napkins donated to Arunodhaya Trust, Bro siga social service guild & Seva Chakkra Samajam. No of Beneficiaries 200. Project value – 600

12. SCHOOL FEES DONATION - PRLC 47 Contributing 10000 to R. Parimala daughter of st Joseph. she is studying 10th standard at immaculate high school, Pondicherry. Her school fees 10000 was paid by PRLC 47

13. GROCERY DONATION - Prospect Viviya donated groceries to needy . Donation value 2000. No of beneficiaries -1

14. Area 2 initiative animal welfare project done on 15th august by LC47 - circle donation -500 Feeder street dogs and animals.

EVENTS ATTENDED BY CIRCLERS AND TWINKLERS 1. Tw Anaira and Tw Aradhya has attended the art session. Children were really interested and enjoyed.

2. Cr Priyanka Vineet has attend the art of table decoration of Rakshan Bandhan.

This session was initiated by Shillong Ladies Circle 157.

3. Cr Surabhi Dabas, Cr Nivetha Vijayarangan, Cr Sakshi Kohli, Cr Payal Jalan and Cr Janani senthilkumar has Attended The NAGM-21.

4. Cr Nivetha Vijayarangan and Cr Sakshi Kohli are attended the Session which conducted by our past president Masuma Vagh. This session was very energetic and done mind relax exercise.

5. Tw Anaira and Tw Aradhya has done the creative art work and sent to National Rendezevous Convener Cr Harsha Bachachan.

6. Tw Anaira and Tw Aradhaya Participated in the origami madness

7. Tw Anaira and Tw Ardhya has participated and won the creative pot art competition and both of the art were published in the Rendezvous E-Mazhine.

8. National lapd convenor Divya host a lapd session. It was a wonderful and very knowledge session The Marigold effective topic - a great concept to bond and help each other in Circling.

9. Tw Nayra and Tw Nirmay attended story telling Session with Pragi, This session was initiated by Area 2 Twinkler Convenor Tr Varun Mohta, Cr kousalya and Cr Fiona.

10.Tw Anaira and Tw Aradhya has attended the Doodle Time.

11.Chairperson Payal Jalan attended the meeting with National President Theme CONVENOR.

12.Cr Sakshi Kohli and Cr Surabhi Dabas has attended the Area 2 Area Annual General Meeting. It was a wonderful AAGM. The PRLC 47 Got award for the project of Cow donation and breastmilkdonation

FELLOWSHIP

1. Cr Payal jalan, Cr Nivetha Vijayarangan, Cr Surabhi Dabas, Cr Janani senthilkumar, Cr Nikitha Jain, Honorary Priyanka Vineet, honorary Twinkle Gupta andGuide Gowri are attended family fellowship. It was the day of Tabler Agm. We had a wonderful time with wonderful games. Past Chairperson Surabhi Dabas given a new for new Circler Nikitha and preena. Chairperson payal Jalan given gifts to all the Circlers to PRLC 47. We had an retirement celebration of Cr priyanka and Tr Abishek kohli..

2. Cr Payal jalan, Cr Nivetha Vijayarangan, Cr Janani senthilkumar, Cr Nikitha Jain, Honorary Priyanka Vineet, honorary Twinkle Gupta , Cr Preena and Guide Gowri, Cr Anshu Grorge had an Iceblast initiative fellowship where we all girls had super fun licking the ice popsicles,with a fun quick round of game which 10of us actively participated and the lucky one on the dice won from the chairperson a Mc Donald’s meal.

3. Cr Payal jalan, Cr Nivetha Vijayarangan, Cr Janani senthilkumar, Cr Nikitha Jain, Honorary Priyanka Vineet, honorary Twinkle Gupta , Cr Preena and Guide Gowri , Cr Anshu George had a wonderful fellowship on charter day . Initiated by Chairperson Payal Jalan

4. Payal Jalan's Traditional south indian baby shower was intiated and organized bylc 47. It's was suprise and beautiful event, for payal . The circlers and Twinklers were so happy and had a very good time. Location : Surabhi's home, Aurovile.

5. The Circlers were LC 47 are participated in the Miss match silly slipper and crazy hair. It was wonderful and nicely intiated by Chairperson Payal Jalan. Wonderful games all the circlers, twinklers, honorary and guide were participated . The game won by Cr Janani senthil.kumar.

6. The Circlers , honorary, guide and Twinklers were so excited and had a great time. Pictionary game being played it was super fun and enjoyed well. There are two team as Priyanka and twinkle team. Finally the game win by Priyanka team .

Chairperson gifted to both the team.

MSLC 63 Madras Sterling Ladies Circle 63 has so far attempted to fill in the shoes of the glorious history the circle maintains. With 50+ projects worth Rs 3,33,000/benefitting around 2000 people and 10+ fellowships, we certainly are learning the act of rounded balancing.

We have been incredibly lucky to have attended LAPDs and events by other Circles and found friends beyond circling world. We cumulatively learnt the art of Makeup, Microgreens, Marigold effect and the list goes on.

We are blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to extend our help in 1.The Military hospital - Donating a Multi Parameter Monitor 2. Setting up Vaccination drives all through the year 3. Felicitation of Front line workers and teachers – Gifts for Doctors, Staff members and their family. Felicitation of teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day 4. Food distribution for the under-privileged – Orphanages, Cancer patients and street wanderers 5. Fee allocation for aspiring learners – Tab donation, School fee payments and donation of Books and school kits 6. Infrastructure support at Rettambedu Village - Fundraising through Clothes/Furniture/Shoe donation and organized an Area level Kids play event to raise 20k+ 7. Hygiene awareness – Through Crimson Project and LAPD for expecting women on the occasion of Breast-feeding Week

8. Joy of Giving – Celebrated Birthdays and Anniversaries of Circlers and tablers by donating food, rice bags, protein kits, school kits and 2 tree saplings per tabler.

9. Independence Day celebration – 75 things donated including wardrobe, projector, fridge, clothes, toys. It was a wonderful day.

10.Animal care – Donated Barley and fed cows at Pinjarapole, Chennai For our very curious and excited twinklers we also organized and help them participate in 1.An interactive coffee plantation tour at Yercaud.

2. A story telling session about Lord Krishna and Lord Ganesha, the event was graced by the famous story teller Sailesh Josyula.

3.A pool party to enjoy with their twinkler friends 4.A story telling session by Pragi aunty 5.Contributing their artwork for the August Rendezvous Edition.

We also make time to unwind from the chaotic work schedules by catching up over 1.A fun gup-shup luncheon at the happening eateries 2.Binge on desserts very often 3.Rejuvenate with Popcorn-pepsi combo for movie nights 4.Celebrate Birthdays religiously with cakes and photos 5.Host unforgettable parties with unforgettable friends Its only been a couple of wonderful months, but MSLC63 has a no holds bar policy when it comes to going beyond their way to help the needy, support the less privileged and care for the vulnerable. We plan to better our access to the untapped venues of society, be it in terms of Financial extension and providing them the exposure they deserve. We strive to standby our theme LIFELINE and hope to be the lifeline for each and everyone around us.

MCLC 73 The Quarter1 at MCRT82 & MCLC 73 has been a rollercoaster ride with activities happening across all facets. Full justice done by all conveners to their allotted roles and contributing across all facets, it has been a balanced and extremely satisfactory Q1.

Projects : 60 projects covering special events (annadhanam, Hair donation), APS, sports grant, National project initiative grants, E2E and Non E2E Projects, Health & Hygiene, Community services, etc…

E2E Digital Learning : Donation 50 lenovo laptop CARE2SHARE Grocery Kit Distribution- 1000 kit donated to Adi-Dravidar School, Kilambakkam START SMART TAB DONATION - 2 Tab donated START SMART DESKIT DONATION - 10 DESKITS Sports Scholarship Grant received Gift Hair Gift Confidence - 12 hair donation School fee donation : 10 Sanitary pad distribution PRESIDENT THEME PROJECT - 2 projects Project Dishaa - Sewing Machine donated to Mentally Challenging women shelter home.

Project Grassroot - 2 beneficiary Overall beneficiaries : 3500+ Projects worth : Rs33 Lakh/-

FELLOWSHIP 25 Fellowship in the Q1. A walk to remember, grand Masti, silly slippers and crazy hair, popsicle fellowship, Atrangi Yaari, Late night parties, etc..

FUNDRAISER (2 fundraisers –Fund Raised Rs 30,000) 1) Make up workshop with International make-up Artist and brand owner of Seasoul cosmetics Manisha Chopra from which we raised funds worth Rs 30,000 with 40 registrations.

2) Ketto fundraiser initiated to support the underprivileged sail through the covid crisis

by CARE2SHARE CAMPAIGN. It’s an ongoing campaign that raised 2lakh funds so far.

MELC 100 PROJECTS 1.The Kindness Piggy Bank project - where the kids donated from their piggybanks and collected around 32,000 and provided hot food for 2 days to around 250 street kids and slum dwellers across the city with Robin hood Army.

2.Bake a smile:- As per National Initiative our Circlers,Past circlers, twinklers, bakers across city baked for underprivileged kids across the city for ten days.

3.Food for Dignity- Tabler Alshay Seth celebrated his birthday by distributing food to slum dwellers across the city for ten days 4.Life to Livelihood series - Set up three kiosks for a blind and two handicapped women in rural areas which has given them to sell nicknack eatables and make a decent Livelihood and live with pride.

5.Shoe donation drive -* We managed to collect more than 700 pairs of shoes in excellent condition and distribute it across many organisation's and slums across the City.

Apart from these we carried out surgeries,Animal welfare projects,kitchen amenities for mental health organizations,Area crimson,etc FELLOWSHIPS 1.PAAN AND SUTTA IN RAIN FELLOWSHIP Our Felcons set up a paan shop in the car booty and dressed up as paan wallah and fed paan and supari to our tablers and circlers with fun songs.🎵 2.AAJA MERI LORRY MAIN BAITH JA We celebrated 40th birthday of two tablers and a circlers in a crazy way with party music and dance on a Lorry around the city!!

3. PUB FELLOWSHIP SUPET FUN AND GREAT ATTENDANCE for the pub fellowship at black orchid plus an induction and fellowship basket carried out!!

Apart from these we had teej,movie,dinner fellowships!!

TWINKLERS 1.TWINKLERS did fun tablers and twinklers cricket fellowship at Rush with great attendance!!

2.CSK VS RCB- 9 TWINKLERS GOT TOGETHER TO NJOI THE MATCH AT TWR ADEESH PARAKH HOUSE ANS THEY MADE A FUN BOOMERANG VIDEO FOR THE BOOMERANG AREA COMPETITION WITH GOOD FOOD AND POPCORN AND DESSERTS!!

Eunoia - Think Happy live Happy Keeping up to the theme of Madras Spice Ladies Circle 133, we happily lived and cherished every moment of Fellowships, Projects, LAPDs and Twinkler events.

PROJECTS It is a wonderful feeling when we touch people's lives and make a difference with a group of like-minded people. Everything starts with a thought – whether it is an initiative to empower 20 women by equipping them with car driving skills or serving food to 1000 specially-abled kids. Installation of an RO Plant or supporting our Jawans through Bharat Ke Veer. Felicitation of frontline workers, collaborations for various National initiatives like Tab distribution, Shaktiyug and Project Grassroots or our contribution to match the number of other circlers from Area 2 for the National Initiative Project “The Heroes” – We touched lives and made a difference in whatever way possible. Our journey sets a perfect example of how we transformed our thoughts into actions, which required teamwork and dedication.

FELLOWSHIPS We flagged-off the first Inter Table-Circle event in Area 2 on Friendship Day, aptly named "The Spice Hunt". All the Fellowships, big or small, helped us create a stronger bond, giving us an opportunity know get to know more about each other.

Our fellowships began with bonding with past circlers for lunch, followed by our table-circle celebrating the theme of Incredible India in Onam style. Our signature Bingo Fellowships have so far given us the pleasure of enjoying delicious Chaat & Jalebi at Kakada, enticing Paan in Katha Chuna, fun shopping at Vimonisha Exhibition and distinctive cocktail making at The Living Room. Further, since one of our circlers couldn’t make it to the fellowships for health reasons, we took the fellowship to her! We made sure we bonded at any cost. The Spice Family Trip to Yelagiri with tablers and twinklers was a cherry on the cake!

TWINKLERS

For Twinklers we launched ROOTS and WINGS, an Area 2 initiative wherein we have collaborated with an NGO, to teach our twinklers the ‘Art of Giving’ at a young age.

The Twinklers, in return, will be recognised by MSLC 133 and the NGO. We also initiated Art and Craft activities, Play dates and Pinjrapole visits for our Twinklers with a lot of fun and bonding they had with each other.

PUBLICITY

We initiated the first-ever Instagram filter for Ladies Circle India. Our events and service initiatives were featured in newspapers like The Hindu, Times of India, Dinakaran, Dinamalar, Rajasthan Patrika and other Magazines. We were also featured in regional channels like Jaya TV, Raj TV and Sun TV.

LAPD

We ensured that the LAPD videos were circulated to all the circlers, and we also discussed them in meetings for better understanding. We also had the opportunity to experience the lovely Marigold LAPD by Cr. Pragi, National LAPD Convenor. In Yelagiri, we conducted a Team Building Workshop for all the tablers, circlers and twinklers to ensure experiential learning with various activities.

REGALIA & RENDEZVOUS

We’ve had Regalia purchases and our circlers have also contributed articles towards Rendezvous.

In the first quarter, the circlers of MSLC 133 made sure that no stone was left unturned in any of the facets. This is result of teamwork and collective efforts. The key learning for me from this quarter was, "YOU are only as good as your team”. It is my pride and pleasure to have the opportunity to lead this enthusiastic and talented team.

Area 2 Crimson Joint Project Area 2 Executed the Joint Area Crimson Project under Bring on the Sunshine Initiative given by National convenors. In total 3000 Sanitary pads were distributed in Q1, 1000 each in the months of July, Aug & Sept.

The pads were procured from the Crimson units set up under the ISP project of LC India.

The pads were distributed to Arunodhaya, Krupa Trust, Shine Trust, Ambattur Slums & Bro siga social service guild.

Total Cost Rs 16640. Contribution by all 9 circles at Area2 We also donated 9000 sanitizer satchets which was distributed to the slum communities at Vyasarpadi & Royapuram.
