Dearest Superwomen of Area 2, Its an Honor and Privilege to be sharing a message for MEMORIES 365, January News Letter. Special thanks to AST Cr. Jenni for making this happen and for all your efforts.

This has been an action-packed month even with the midst of the Corona Wave. The Circles have been relentless in your efforts all the thanks to the Dynamic Leadership of the Chairpersons and their Secy’s – take a bow ladies.

Pleased to share some of the Highlights of the month.

We have completed our “Walk for a cause’ Project funds for which was raised during the NFD in which we donated Medicines to HIV affected kids at CHE society worth 25,000/-.

A big shout out to Cr. Akankshaya who has left no stone un-turn to make Shine Facet grow so powerfully. Her fresh and out of the box ideas to make Shine helpful and fun for all circleoprenures. We had a Great HRD session on a Sunday morning ‘Webinar on LinkedIn” where we had 200 heads attending the same.

Definitely a lot of learnings to take back and improve our Professional and Business lives. It’s my honour to Give ‘Area Chairperson Star’ Pin to Cr. Akanshaya for her meticulous work in Facet Shine. I encourage Circlers to please send out Videos for Q3 Shine Area Initiative “Let’s Go”. Area Leadership Conclave 2021-22 – ‘EVOLVE’ is Happening in Ooty this is a good opportunity to develop Leadership Qualities which will not only help in your Circling Career but also in your Personal Lives. I can tell from personal experience you will definitely come back with a bunch of friends for life.

DO NOTE Circle Project Conveners and Chairpersons: We have “Give her wings to Fly” Grant this year in Area, I request you to apply for the same. If any circler is not willing to take it please let the area project convenors know so that the funds can be forwarded to other circles.

Area 2 was happy to raise funds for Madras Ladies Circle 2, long term Dialysis Project and our Gratitude to Cr. Swapna Area NGO & Co-operate relation Convenor for helping us raise these funds. An circle needs help for any tie-up with Co-operates and NGO’s please do get in touch with us.

Area Secretary Treasurer (AREA 2) (21 - 22)

Dear Circlers of Area 2, The Rainbow is God’s promise of hope for you and me..

And though the clouds hang heavy and the sun we cannot see..

We know above the dark clouds that fill the stormy sky..

Hope’s Rainbow will come shining through when the clouds have drifted by..

It has not been a normal or easy month but the strength and courage each and every circler has shown is outstanding...Hats of to you all for performing phenomenally well this month be it offline or online.

NUMBER OF PROJECTS DONE IN NOVEMBER - 49 TOTAL COST - 9,77,672/-

Only the light to knowledge about AIDS can rid us from the darkness of fear, misconception and pain.'

Did you know a child gets orphan by AIDS every 15 seconds?

And we at AREA 2 did our little bit to lend a helping hand to Community Health Education Society who caters to needs of HIV Orphans.

We helped them with their Medical Needs for a month.

We provided them medicines for 60 kids for a month. This was only possible through efforts put in by the ladies who participated in 'Walk For A Cause' and raised funds for the same during the NFD.

Cost of the Project - 25,000/-

MSLC 2 availed a grant of Rs. 16750/- for Ms leena towards her education to fulfill the upcoming academic year's fees.

MMLC 7 availed a grant of Rs. 19700/- for Ms Elfina Franklin studying chemistry at Stella Maris Chennai was supported.

MCLC 73 availed a grant of Rs. 4722/- On the occasion of 23rd charter day of MCLC73, they donated school fees for a girl child Priyanka studying in 12th std. Due to this pandamic situation the parents are in a very difficult position to pay the fees. So they decided to pay the fees and encourage the girl to continue her education without any hindrance.

MCLC 73 availed a grant of Rs. 12500/- by donating sewing machine to ladies in st.thomas mount .This will help the ladies to improve their skill and increase their income source.

Area 2 - LAPD

Webinar on Linked in Area 2 came up with yet another intresting LAPD for Business Owners, Corporates & Snior Management on LinkedIn by two of the best.

LEGENDARY MIND'S SECRET

CORPORATE TIE UP A sum of Rs.5,00,000 /- was raised by Cr.Swapna, Corporate & NGO Relations Convenor towards the Long term Dialysis project by MWRT10 & MWLC2.

We Thank our Donor JC Jewellers for their Kind contribution.

Huge gratitude to Cr.Swapna in helping us raise the funds for a Noble project and would like her to give Area Chairperson Star pin for her constant support to our AREA.
