ACTING CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Gregory Hill
Meet our new Acting CEO, Gregory Alan Hill, Sr.! He is a retired Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, and after serving 23 years, returned to school; obtaining a Masters in Library and Information Science degree from IUPUI, and then a Master of Science (M.S.) in Strategic Management, from Indiana Wesleyan University. He began his library career, while attending school, in May 2011, as a Library Assistant II. He previously served as a reference librarian at Central, Decatur Library Branch Manager, Lawrence Branch Manager, Area Resource Manager, East Region, and Interim Chief Public Services Officer. Hill is currently serving as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Indianapolis Public Library.

Take what you need. Give what you can.
Located in our lobby, East 38th Street’s pantry is available to anyone in need with no questions asked. Items available depend on donations but food items include non-perishable foods only. We might sometimes have cleaning products and personal care items. In the past we’ve had donations of hats, coats, and gloves, and children’s toys available.
