Meet and Greet

On 28 January, JCI Quatre Bornes began the year by building stronger bonds. Wisdom comes by sharing experiences with each other; with this aim the "Jaycee Freshers", as I'd like to put it, took the initiative to organise a meet and greet. The event was held at Eighty Eight Restaurant, Bagatelle. Senator Kiran Bhujun responded positively to the invitation and we appreciate his effort and time to meet with the newest members of JCI Quatre Bornes. His advice throughout the evening motivated all those present and strengthened their enthusiasm to lead and view things with an improved perspective.

Indeed, it was a joyous opportunity for all of us to share how JCI made us happy in varying ways and most importantly what JCI meant to us. Being a newbie in this organisation I was reluctant, at first, and rather unsure what was awaiting in terms of responsibilities as a recently sworn in member. The informal setup on that day created an ambience that was highly conducive to promoting an enlightening discussion. As I vividly recall, Senator Kiran described how he found his passion for photography through this organisation. We would like to share with you dear readers, and hopefully prospective JCI members, that a testimonial video by Senator Kiran, was published on the JCI Quatre Bornes Facebook Page. I urge you to watch the video.

The JCI Quatre Bornes family intends to grow bigger and better and leave an impactful legacy too. With this intention the members are earnestly looking forward to more such insightful Meet & Greet events.
