Dear readers,

Greetings!!

Welcome to the first issue of this year's newsletter titled "Whispers From The City Of Flowers" of JCI Quatre Bornes. First and foremost, I wish to thank the JCI Community, especially the authors, for their valuable cooperation in putting together this edition. I am also grateful to our incredibly talented editorial teammate Huzaifa Udhin for his creative input.

The content of this newsletter is but a mere fragment of the thoughts of our fascinating minds - quite representative of this year's motto "Beautiful Minds Inspire Others". Indeed, the newly established board members are full of enthusiasm and I am honoured to publish their aspirations and their values. Words are less to describe their admirable efforts in the face of difficulties. This periodical shall begin by a foreword from the leaders of the JCI Community followed by a message from our fellow board members. We will then feature the winning experience of our aspiring members who made us proud during the latest debate championship. The newsletter also describes the ensuing activities regarding the Gender Based Violence, Neighborhood Watch and Skills Development Training projects.

I share the same vision as JCI; I sincerely hope to bring together motivated citizens and create resilient leaders.

Having said this, I suggest you let our articles whisper optimism in your hearts.
