Guggenheim Museum

Enjoy a docent-led tour exploring the diverse body of work of artist Rashid Johnson. Almost 90 works—from black-soap paintings and spraypainted text works to large-scale sculptures, film, and video—fill the museum’s rotunda. After the tour, take time to further explore the museum, enjoy lunch on your own or stroll along Fifth Avenue.

Brush up on your photography skills in this hands-on course using the powerful camera right on your iPad. Join a friendly artistic community for sculpting, drawing, painting, watercolors, collage or exploring another medium—whatever your creative outlet, the Art Co-op offers a welcoming space to work on your own projects alongside fellow artists. Bring your own project or work with collage materials laid out for you. Materials and ongoing projects can be stored on-site at the JCC for convenience. All media and levels of creativity are welcome. A perfect setting for collaboration, expression, and artistic community.
