前言 Foreword 過去兩年疫情肆虐，為我們的日常帶來翻
免費的藝文活動，包括藝術示範、露天電
天覆地的變化：日復日在家工作和學習，
影會、講座、表演、短片欣賞等。當中内
時間彷彿被凝固；口罩阻擋了笑容，社交

In the hectic era of Covid-19 pandemic, we are seemingly living inside the ever-mutating circumstances. Our vision is restricted by our medical knowledge, living attitude and social condition of living. Our perspectives are limited inevitably... Who can lead a life objectively!? Viewing outside in a distance, the dark / other side of the moon is beyond our perception. Inside or outside our globe, we are unable to fuse vision with reality. The artwork in JCCAC will be conceptually 180° or semi-opened for public viewing.

For people with disabilities who dream to become professional artists, “ArtWorks” provides art training in different areas for them to explore their personal style and artistic direction. This exhibition is a mid-term review along this journey, showcasing around 30 works, including photography, illustration and character design and paintings by participants of the three courses.

The dream of creation has been spinning due to the changing societal environment recently. 這 次 以 魚 為 主 題 的 展 覽， 由 三 位 不 同 背 景 的 朋 友， 以 不 同 的 藝 術 媒介，希望透過放射性的想像，帶 出魚兒多面向的隱喻。雖然是力量 微小的小魚，但正如繪本大師 Leo Lionni 在《 小 墨 魚 》 童 書 裡 面 的 小魚群，牠們想出以大魚一樣的形 狀 游 泳， 在 危 險 的 環 境 中 掙 扎 求 存，可見團結的力量是驚人的。

In this exhibition with fish as the theme, three friends from different backgrounds, and different artistic mediums hope to bring out a multi-faceted metaphor of fish. The strength of a small fish is little. that Leo Lionni conveys in his famous children book Little Cuttlefish: the small fishes figured out a method to swim in the shape of a big fish, to survive in a dangerous environment. How amazing is the strength of unity!

當插畫結合立體書時，奇幻的世界觀 充滿了層次與立體感，令觀者跌入了 愛麗絲的兔子洞！本地插畫家梁家碧 將示範製作由她原創的隧道書。其作 品亦曾經在 K11 作獨立展出。 在示範中，參加者可以了解製作隧 道書的構圖以及木顏色上色技巧。 如果有興趣製作一本獨一無二的隧 道書，就要密切留意之後推出的工 作 坊。 完 成 作 品 後， 隧 道 書 可 作 為 展示於家中的應節藝術品。
When illustrations meet 3D books, the fantasy world view is full of layers and three-dimensionality, making viewers fall into Alice's rabbit hole! Local illustrator Momo Leung will demonstrate the creation of an original illustrated tunnel book. Her illustrated tunnel book has been exhibited in a solo exhibition at K11 showcase. In the demonstration, participants will grasp the composition and colour pencil colouring skills for tunnel book. Stay tuned for the upcoming workshop if you wish to create your own tunnel book! It can be displayed at home as an artwork.

"Cyberpunk" and "deformation, together with reformation and precision" are the major visual expressions in PureHay’s works. In recent years, he also enjoys expressing his nostalgia through the creation of "Old Hong Kong". The pandemic has changed living habits around the world. Worrying about the future, many have shown signs of stress and depression. Living in this “moment” where the world seemed almost static in lockdown – we all need an emotional outlet. This live demonstration will show how we can document our emotions and create our own “emotional outlet” minibook. Even though we are all trapped in this city, we must not lose our faith.

Margaret Chu is a cross-disciplinary a r t i st e n g a g e d i n s c u l p t u re a n d p a i n t i n g . H e r wo r k s ex p lo re t h e relationship between human and urban life. She is particularly interested in themes such as “object and space”, “time” and “memories”. In this sharing, the artist will take her paper sculpture as a starting point and bring her audience on a journey through the history of the land development of Hong Kong, and further to tell the story of the disappearing temple rooftops. Margaret will also share her thoughts and experience during creations.

人的生活所留下的痕跡，造就不同 文化背景的街道。街道的名字除了 伴隨對於城市的期許與發展脈絡， 亦承載著生活的回憶及情感。我們 拍攝街道書法表演，展示水墨及中 文 字 的 美 態， 寫 下 街 道 名 稱， 並 設 計出符合街道性格的文字；繼而於 晨曦時游走城市，展示社區「睡醒」 之美貌。 我們希望借助過去的香港故事勉勵 現 在 的 香 港 人， 用 書 法 把「 靈 氣 」 注入到城市當中，並推廣水墨藝術。 是次活動希望可以讓觀眾親身體驗 大 型 書 法， 拿 起 大 型 毛 筆， 在 大 畫 布或畫紙上揮毫，與我們一起創作。
People’s daily activities leave behind traces that form the cultural constructs of different streets. Street names not only carry our expectations of the city and its development, but also living memories and emotions. We performed calligraphy on the streets to show the beauty of ink and Chinese characters, writing down street names with calligraphy that matches their characters. We then walked around the city at dawn to capture the beauty of the community as it “awakens”. With the help of past Hong Kong stories, we hope to encourage Hongkongers of our time, while at the same time i n f u s e “ re i k i ” i n t o t h e c i t y w i t h calligraphy and promote ink art. This programme invites audience to join us and experience large-scale calligraphy, pick up a big brush and paint on a large piece of canvas or paper.

It discloses the thoughts of a dreamer, p re s e n t s t h e u n d e r s t a n d i n g o f oneself and the world, and at the same time exposes repression and primitive desires. 關於 JCCAC About JCCAC 開放時間 Opening Hours JCCAC 每 日 上 午 10 時 至 晚 上 10 時開放， 農曆新年假期除外。 公眾可自由參觀而毋須預約，但 請留意個別展覽及藝術活動會有 不同的開放日期和時間，為免向 隅， 請 向 主 辦 單 位 直 接 查 詢 確 定。我們亦提供預約的團體導賞 服務，如有興趣，歡迎查詢。 JCCAC is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily except Chinese New Year holidays. While no appointment is required for general visits, visitors should check the date and time of specific exhibitions or art activities to avoid disappointment. JCCAC also offers group guided tours; interested parties may contact us for details.
於 2008 年開幕的賽馬會創意藝術中 心（JCCAC），是香港首間由整幢廠 廈活化而成的藝術村兼藝術中心。 JCCAC 為自負盈虧非牟利慈善團體 及香港浸會大學附屬機構，作為一 所多元化及對外開放的藝文場地， JCCAC 既為藝術家及藝文團體提供 價格實惠的工作室及設施，也為公 眾營造親切的環境，體驗藝術文化 活動和感受創意氛圍，讓藝術更靠 近 社 區， 並 走 得 更 遠。 佔 地 約 二 十 萬平方呎的 JCCAC 是近 140 個各類 型藝術家和文化團體的運作基地， 當中更特別預留近四份之一的工作 室以支持具潛質的新晉藝術家。
Opened in 2008, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) is the first factoryturned artist village and arts centre in Hong Kong. JCCAC is a self-financed registered charity and Hong Kong Baptist University's subsidiary. The multidisciplinary arts and cultural venue is open to the public and is dedicated to meet the arts community’s need for affordable arts studio and display facilities, nurture young creative talents for Hong Kong and provide a relaxed environment for the public to experience arts and culture. Spread over 200,000 square feet, JCCAC is the operation base for around 140 artists and cultural organisations of a wide array of art forms, of which around a quarter of its studios are dedicated specifically to support development of promising emerging artists.
