Born in Cleveland, Ohio to two very diverse individuals who made sure that education was at the forefront of this budding designers life. So much so, that she almost missed her train stop at “Fashion Avenue”. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia as a Biology major, however shortlived she pushed to stay in the medical field because she was encouraged to do so. People close to here shunned the idea of fashion, because she was never particularly good at coloring in the lines or painting a perfect picture. After graduating college, she moved home to live with her parents and it was there that she realized that she was letting her life be determined by outside forces. She set on a path to be in the world that always inspired her. She pushed past all of the naysayers and with some divine help she launched Shift by Jazzmynn.
