The Victory Week

By Kitty Perry

Sandy and Liz have been best friends for years. Every night they would sit around the fire laughing their heads off. Sandy was a snake and Liz a lizard. Every evening they would climb into their cave and go to sleep.

“I’ve got a good feeling for today.” Said Liz happily. Suddenly two camels arrived! “Animals in the desert! BEWARE!” screamed both Liz and Sandy. All of a sudden, everyone looked out their caves. All of the animals knew they had to do something. The animals decided to make the camels lives miserable.

The first thing the animals did to the camels was steal all the food and hid all the water. The camels got really angry at the animals so they wanted to do annoying things.

They decided to join the pack, which was by the lake, and come and interfere with their conversations. All the animals scattered away to their caves and didn’t come out for about two hours.

The second brilliant idea was to give the two camels food that made you really sick. The sickness meant that the camels could hardly move or stand up. “This is bound to get the camels out of here, told Sandy to the group.

Fortunately for the animals it tipped down with cats and dogs so every animal in Peace World had to stay in their cave. The only cave left, for the camels, was a cave with holes in the roof and bats in all corners.

The camel knew that the animals were trying to make their lives horribly and despite the amount of water and food there was there, it was just the animals that spoilt it. The camels plodded back, the sun glistening on them, disappointed that they failed their mission.
