February Newsletter Welcome to February‌ looks like we have hit our second winter ☚ On a happier note, I thought I better quickly introduce our new-ish staff changes for those of you that haven’t noticed or are wondering! Whitney Jarratt has replaced Shelley/Linda on the IT side. She is great and we are loving having her!! Shannon Clarke who was recently a sub of ours, has taken over our lunch coverage position, and Samantha Williams is now our main substitute teacher đ&#x;˜Š We are also loving these gals. For those of you that remember Amanpreet and Roxanne as practicum students on the 3-5 side; they are back in the IT program!! Please say hello if you see them!
Just a reminder that children are not to bring personal items to school unless it is show & tell or they are stuffies for naptime. These items tend to get lost and or broken and cause too many issues. Thanks! We are asking for help with our potty-training children. If you could please send loose fitting pants that your child is able to pull up and down on their own, we would really appreciate it. We want to thank all of you that have been helping to make sure Lauren is able to leave the centre at 6pm sharp. However, we have a couple of friendly reminders about pickup. If you are picking up during circle time, please remove your child from the area quickly so as not to disturb all the others. If you want to speak with a teacher please let them know and they will meet with you elsewhere. We are also asking that if you or your child uses the bathroom near the end of the day that you leave it as you found it. We are finding unflushed toilets and running taps in the mornings. Thanks!
