Early Childhood Educator Position Position: Early Childhood Educator; 3-5 year old program Location: Little Dandelions Childcare Centre; Fort St. John BC Terms: Permanent Full time 40 hours per week; Salary: Competitive wages for level of qualification, benefits after 3 months Start Date: January 3rd, 2021 Responsibilities: ● ● ● ●
To work closely with the 3-5 year program team providing quality inclusive care To establish and maintain positive relationships with families, children and staff To maintain a clean and safe environment To interact directly with the children in providing quality childcare and emergent programming ● To ensure that all safety and supervision standards are followed and maintained ● To maintain confidentiality of all information related to the centre, the children, their families and staff Requirements: ● ● ● ● ● ●
Early Childhood Educator license to practice (Certificate or Diploma) High level of organizational and customer service skills Diplomas, certificates or other evidence of training related to ECE Current first aid an asset (must be willing to take the course if no current certificate) Successful candidate will be required to pass a Criminal Reference Check MUST be a team player
