October Newsletter Welcome to the chilly weather On that note please do not forget to send warm outdoor clothing and LABEL EVERYTHING!! Please also remember that when your child goes home in their own spare or borrowed clothes we need them back!!
On October 31st we will be having a Halloween Party at the centre. We encourage your children to dress up, but please do not send weapons. We will also be having a potluck for the 3-5 program and the Tod Squad. I will post a sign-up sheet closer to the date. Just a reminder that certain foods MUST be cut for both the I/T and 3-5 Programs. These include but are not limited to cherry tomatoes, grapes, hot dogs (sliced vertically) and cherries must be pitted. We understand that your child may not need these measures taken at home, but we have many children in our care and we prefer to be as safe as possible. Don’t forget about our new Scholastic Program!! I am going to be placing an order on Wednesday, October 2nd to make sure we get Halloween books in on time. I would like to let everyone know that our Christmas Closure this year will be December 23rd thru January 1st. We will be open for January 2nd and 3rd, and will be offering full day camps for the school age children those days as well. We are asking that you please let us know if you will not be attending those days as we are anticipating low numbers and would love to let some staff have extra days off if possible. Thanks!
