Week 2 - Fall Quarter

Baker College - Port Huron

Welcome to Baker College HUS, CRJ and ECE Faculty

G

reetings HUS, ECE and CRJ Faculty, it is my pleasure to welcome each of you to Fall Quarter 2014! This is an exciting time in our Division as we embrace several changes that took place this past summer. This summer we linked our Port Huron & Clinton Township family, which has resulted in greater collaboration, enhanced communication and the sharing of resources. Our shared system will stimulate increased engagement and collaboration across campuses, while also encouraging dynamic approaches to faculty development and student support services. As you know, we also introduced our new divisional staffing structure which will allow for greater program innovation and creativity like never before, which will position us to be much stronger as a Division. We have several new initiatives planned this year to enhance the quality of campus life for faculty, staff and students and hope you will get involved and participate. I am looking forward to seeing each of you on campus, and as always, when you have a few moments, feel free to stop by the Academic Office and say hello. Janet M. Joiner, PhD, LMSW Dean of HUS, ECE, CRJ
