Choose from our selection of Luxury Suites or Desert Pod Villas that best suits your needs, we have pre-planned packages for couples, singles, or groups of 4+. Included in the price of your holiday you will have numerous services such as entertainment for adults and children every day and free pool service (as promotion gift). A shuttle bus is scheduled every half an hour, from the hotel’s Main Entrance to make the short trip over to the
Dune Buggy Activity booth where all fun desert activtities are available. Just to mention a few; dune buggy rides, camel riding, horse riding for adults and children, nature walk, and picnic in at the desert. The rental of equipment, laundry service, cleaning at the arrival and departure (excluding kitchenette) and rental of bed linen and towels are all included with any Desert Pod packages. Each evening you will be invited to join the resident astronomer* as they unlock the mysteries of Peru's skies in the lodge’s state of the art observatories, complete with a Celestron CPC 1100 GPS (XLT) computerised telescope. The observatory presents the ideal place to gaze in awe at the wonders of the clear desert sky as resident astronomers point out the brightest and most beautiful constellations, the vast Milky Way and distant, mysterious planets.

Ica Private Desert Reserve neighbours South America's only International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR) and was originally instrumental in helping the PeruvianNature Reserve gain its prestigious Gold Tier status, which celebrates nighttime environments that have little to no impact from light pollution and artificial light. With the nearest town 140 km (87 mi.) away from the lodge, there are no sources of light pollution and the reserve’s sky is one of the darkest yet measured in the world.
YAVAPAI LODGE
Also located within the Resort, Yavapai Lodge is a family-, bike- and pet-friendly large party lodge that now offers guests a "Constellations at the Desert" package. UNDER CANVAS
Sleep under the stars in your own safari-style luxury tent just 25 minutes from the main entrance SUR Hotel. Glamping operator Under Canvas' "Stargazer" tent has a viewing window directly above its king-sized bed allowing perfect views of the stars as you drift to sleep (wishing optional).
