This issue is all about anniversaries. Ushuaïa is celebrating five years of creating Ibiza’s best daytime parties, and it’s also been 15 years since I first arrived on this wonderful island, which is now my home. I can only feel gratitude for all it has given me in this time – I love Ibiza! Es Vivé, the first hotel to house live DJs, also celebrates 15 years, Radio 1 celebrates its 20th anniversary in Ibiza, and Ibiza Rocks turns 10. Congratulations to all! The NERVO sisters are the stars of our July magazine. Two issues ago, we had a great time with them on a photo shoot in the countryside of St Augustine. This time, we have gone to Tokyo to create the colourful cover that you have in your hands. Total art! It was amazing to work with the girls; their career is unstoppable and we are happy to share their success with you. Throughout this issue, many of our articles are related to art and creativity. Ibiza’s art scene is exploding right now, second only to the island’s musical empire. The island is already buzzing and as alive as ever, packed full of places and events that you simply can’t miss. We are the only magazine to give you the complete lowdown on what’s happening, with must-have insider guides to the best restaurants, shops, events and undiscovered corners of the island. ESP. Este número va sobre aniversarios. Ushuaïa cumple 5 organizando las mejores fiestas en horario tarde noche y yo 15 desde que llegué a esta maravillosa isla, que ya es mi casa. Sólo puedo sentir agradecimiento por todo lo que me ha dado en este tiempo. ¡Amo tanto a Ibiza! Es Vivé, el primer hotel que dio cabida a DJs, también cumple 15; Radio 1, 20 e Ibiza Rocks, 10. ¡Felicidades a todos! Las hermanas NERVO son nuestra apuesta este julio. Hace dos números les hicimos un shooting campestre en San Agustín. Lo pasamos muy bien con ellas. Este nos hemos ido hasta Tokio para poder crear está divertida portada que tienes en las manos. ‘Arty’total. ¡Ha sido increíble trabajar con ellas! Su carrera está imparable y estamos muy contentos de poder compartir su éxito con todos vosotros. Veréis que a lo largo del número muchos de los temas están relacionados con el arte y la creación porque el arte está abrindose un importante hueco en Ibiza, sólo superado por el imperio musical. La isla ya está a tope y más viva que nunca. Llena de lugares a estrenar que no te puedes perder. Nuestra guía es un ‘must’ para todo el que quiera visitar los mejores restaurantes, tiendas o rincones desconocidos de la isla y somos la única revista en Ibiza que te lo cuenta. ¿A qué esperas para ir a conocerlos?
