Good Timers’ Singles Club News By Liz Poniatowski Life is too short to live someone else’s dreams. It’s true...life IS too short to live someone else’s dreams. Not everyone wants the same things and not everyone has to do the same thing. In the Good Timers’ Singles Club, you get to choose which dreams you want to pursue. You enjoy going to plays? Come with us. We’ve picked out some good ones to go to this year. You enjoy a boat ride to a nearby island to enjoy some shopping, dining, beach time? Come join us...it’s on our agenda for this year. You enjoy going out to lunch once a month to ‘catch up’ with each
other and celebrate birthday’s? Again...come join us. That’s what we do. We get out there and socialize with each other. Some of us are not able to drive so that’s why we carpool! As the song says “Hakuna Matata...it means No Worries”. We take care of one another. We make sure if there’s someplace we’re going to and you want to join in on the fun we get you there. Lasting friendships have been formed in this club. This month we have 2 tables of friends that will gather to have fun at the Mardi Gras fundraiser on Saturday 8 February. We also have a group of us that will be going to see Kinky Boots at the Broadway
Palm Dinner Theater later in the month. This is only the beginning of the fun that is to come so if you’re single and want to jump on this bandwagon please join us at our next meeting on 4 February to see what we’re all about. Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month in the Poinciana Room. Socializing begins at 4:00 and the meeting starts at 4:30. All single Del Turian’s are encouraged to join us at one of our monthly meetings to see if this is a club that you’d like to be a part of.
