Dear Families,

We appreciate the opportunity to provide your child with quality programming that builds academic competence, encourages creativity, promotes lifelong learning, and fosters innovation.

Great futures start early! In Minnesota, children are usually required to be five years old on or before September 1 to enter kindergarten. Here’s your kindergarten timeline:

After Your Child’s Third Birthday Early Childhood Screening I encourage you to visit our district and see the great things that are happening. Contact any of our schools to make arrangements.

Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is doing and can identify possible health or learning concerns. Screening is a mandatory requirement prior to kindergarten enrollment in any public school in Minnesota.

Let’s work together to make your child’s educational journey both amazing and one to remember!

We recommend having your child screened as early as possible. To schedule an appointment, call our Early Childhood Department at (320) 255-8910.

In addition and as a result of successful partnerships throughout the community, we have provided increased access and opportunity for students, along with enhanced programming, to ensure success.
