Bereits zum 52. Mal lädt Galtür alle Wanderfreunde ein, am 23. August 2025 am Silvretta Ferwall Marsch teilzunehmen.

Dieses Event, das inmitten der faszinierenden blauen Silvretta stattfindet, erfreut sich einer langjährigen Tradition und zieht Natur- und Wanderliebhaber gleichermaßen an.

Für alle Wanderer bietet diese Veranstaltung die Möglichkeit, die imposante Gebirgslandschaft von Ferwall und Silvretta zu erleben, die faszinierende alpine Flora und Fauna zu entdecken und den gemeinsamen Spaß am Wandern zu teilen.

For the 52nd time, Galtür invites all hiking enthusiasts to take part in the Silvretta Ferwall March on 23 August 2025.

This event, which takes place in the midst of the fascinating blue Silvretta, enjoys a long-standing tradition and attracts nature and hiking lovers alike.

For all hikers, the event offers the opportunity to experience the imposing mountain landscape of Ferwall and Silvretta, to discover the fascinating alpine flora and fauna and to share the common fun of hiking.

In Galtür stehen den Wanderern vier unterschiedliche Strecken zur Auswahl, um den perfekten Weg für ihre Bedürfnisse zu finden: Die Marathon-Strecke mit 42,195 Kilometern für diejenigen, die sich gerne herausfordern, die Ferwall-Strecke mit 32,7 Kilometern für erfahrene Wanderer, die Silvretta-Strecke mit 19,2 Kilometern für eine entspanntere Wanderung und die Familien-Strecke mit 13,5 Kilometern, die inklusive Schatzsuche speziell für Familien mit Kindern konzipiert ist.

In Galtür, hikers can choose from four different routes to find the perfect trail for their needs: The marathon route with 42.195 kilometres for those who like to challenge themselves, the Ferwall route with 32.7 kilometres for experienced hikers, the Silvretta route with 19.2 kilometres for a more relaxed hike and the family route with 13.5 kilometres which, including a treasure hunt, is specially designed for families with children.

DIE MARATHON-STRECKE

42,195 km | 1.779 hm

Der erste Teil der Strecke führt von Galtür nach Wirl, über das Zeinisjoch, vorbei an der Verbella Alpe bis zur Heilbronner Hütte. Dann geht es über das 2.698 Meter hoch gelegene Grieskogeljoch zur Friedrichshafener Hütte. Der Abstieg führt nach Tschafein und von dort geht es entlang des Wanderwegs zur Larein Alpe. Von dort aus führt der Weg über den Höhenweg direkt ins Ziel.

MARATHON ROUTE

42.195 km | 1,779 m uphill

The first part of this route runs from Galtür to Wirl, and onwards to Zeinisjoch, Verbella Alpe and Heilbronner Hütte. From there, the march continues over the 2,698-metre Grieskogeljoch to Friedrichshafener Hütte. On the way down, participants will pass by Tschafein and continue along the hiking trail to Larein Alpe. From there, the “Höhenweg” trail takes you directly to the finish.

DIE FERWALL-STRECKE

32,7 km | 1.498 hm

Zuerst geht es von Galtür nach Wirl, von dort über das Zeinisjoch, vorbei an der Verbella Alpe bis zur Heilbronner Hütte. Dann führt der Weg über das Grieskogeljoch zur Friedrichshafener Hütte. Nach dem Abstieg bis Tschafein geht es über den Höhenweg ins Ziel.

FERWALL ROUTE

32.7 km | 1,498 m uphill

From Galtür, this route runs to Wirl and past Zeinisjoch to Verbella Alpe and Heilbronner Hütte. From there, it continues across Grieskogeljoch to Friedrichshafener Hütte. Following the descent to Tschafein, the “Höhenweg” trail takes participants to the finish.

DIE SILVRETTA-STRECKE

19,2 km | 618 hm

Nach dem Start in Galtür geht es Richtung Wirl. Die Strecke geht weiter über das Zeinisjoch und dann entlang des Kopsstausees auf dem wunderschönen Panoramaweg zur Breitspitze. Vom Gipfelkreuz geht es zur Alpkogelbahn und geradewegs ins Ziel.

SILVRETTA ROUTE

19.2 km | 618 m uphill

From Galtür, participants hike to Wirl and onwards to Zeinisjoch and along Kops reservoir on the splendid panoramic trail towards Breitspitze. From the summit cross, the route continues towards Alpkogelbahn and further to the finish.

DIE FAMILIEN-STRECKE

13,5 km | 150 hm

Von Galtür aus geht’s zuerst nach Wirl. Nach der Auffahrt mit der Alpkogelbahn führt der Fußweg weiter über den Panoramaweg rund um den Kopsstausee. Nach Passieren des ruhig gelegenen Zeinisjoch führt die Strecke zurück nach Galtür ins Ziel.

Das Beste: Die Strecke ist mit dem Kinderwagen befahrbar!

FAMILY ROUTE

13.5 km | 150 m uphill

From Galtür, this route first takes you to Wirl. Following a ride with Alpkogelbahn cable car, the route continues along the panoramic trail around Kops reservoir. After passing by peaceful Zeinisjoch, the trail runs back to the finish in Galtür.

The best thing about it: This route is pushchair-friendly!

Damit eine sichere Wanderveranstaltung geboten werden kann, haben wir hier die wichtigsten Bestimmungen aufgelistet:

• Jeder Teilnehmer nimmt auf eigene Rechnung und Gefahr teil.

• Kinder dürfen nur in Begleitung der Eltern oder einer Begleitperson teilnehmen.

• Der Veranstalter lehnt jede Haftung vor, während und nach der Veranstaltung ab (auch gegenüber Dritten).

• Den Anweisungen von Organisation, Streckenposten, Ärzten und Helfern ist unbedingt Folge zu leisten.

• Der Einsatz von Begleitfahrzeugen ist auf der Strecke verboten.

• Das Verlassen der markierten Strecke ist untersagt.

• Der Veranstalter behält sich das Recht vor, ohne Angabe von Gründen, Aktiven die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung zu verweigern.

• Der Veranstalter behält sich das Recht vor, wetterbedingt die Veranstaltung abzusagen bzw. die Streckenverläufe zu ändern.

Wichtige Ratschläge

• Der Internationale Silvretta Ferwall Marsch ist eine Wanderveranstaltung mit alpinem Charakter.

• Achte darauf, ausreichend zu trinken, und nimm viel Flüssigkeit mit, um auch zwischen den Labestationen genügend bei dir zu haben.

• Trink während des Marsches keinen Alkohol.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable hiking experience for everyone, please stick to the following rules:

• Participants join the Silvretta Ferwall March at their own account and risk.

• Children may only participate when accompanied by their parents or another adult.

• The organiser accepts no liability before, during or after the event (also towards third parties).

• Instructions by organisers, racetewards, doctors and assistants must be followed at all times.

• The use of escort vehicles on the hiking route is prohibited.

• It is prohibited to leave the marked route.

• The organiser reserves the right to refuse participants without stating reasons.

• The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event or to change the course of the individual routes due to weather conditions.

Useful tips

• The International Silvretta Ferwall March is a hiking event with an alpine character.

• Make sure to drink enough, and take plenty of fluids with you to ensure you have enough between the refreshment stops.

• Don’t drink alcohol during the march!
