Our boys’ basketball teams were promoted to division C this year following on from last season’s hard work. They hit the ground against Boherbue Comprehensive. Our junior team winning 38- 16 and our seniors winning 50-20. Great start lads.

Well done to our junior and senior girls basketball teams who had great wins against Buttevant.

French Boules during European Language Week

The Modern Foreign Languages Department and its students had a great week of celebrations recently to mark the official European Day of Languages. Activities included French Boules, German Escape Rooms, Spanish Quizzes, French Treasure Hunts, Games, Food Tasting and much more! As always, our Transition Year students ran the event and did so with great success! Well done to you all!

Globe project

Scoil Mhuire Kanturk is participating in the GLOBE programme which involves testing the air quality in three different locations around the school. The test tubes will be removed after four weeks and sent to the environmental unit in An Taisce for analysis
