Well done to Danny Meagher who has completed KCFE’s Animation course, and took part in an exhibit in Siamsa Tire. Danny’s work in stop motion, 3D and hand drawn animation, traditional drawing, studies, and original work were put on display for a week with some other KCFE students.

Pictures from an Easter Egg Hunt that took place at Kiskeam Walking Trail on Easter Monday. The hunt was organised by Kiskeam Village Events Committee.

Kanturk Arts Festival Looking for your Submissions

Due to the success of last year’s Poets’ Trees Installation, Kanturk Arts Festival Committee is repeating the project again this year. In addition, they are also running a photographic exhibition. Readers are asked to submit their poems of no more than 20 lines on any subject on www.kanturkarts.ie. The photographic exhibition will include two categories – Open and Kanturk. All entries will be on a slideshow on the website: www.kanturkarts.ie. Twenty images will be printed and will be displayed for the months of July and August. Images can be submitted through the A small section of last year’s Poets’ website. Trees Installation Closing date for both poems and photographs is May 31st and there is no entry fee.
