Working together we are committed to continuing the development of an exceptional school, and giving the best possible education to all the pupils entrusted in our care.
Holy Family school offers a wide range of facilities such as a Sensory Gym which includes a wheelchair swing, Nest swing, Deep Pressure rollers, miniature climbing wall, Punch bag and trampolines. We developed a new Multi-Sensory room, which will contain many specialised pieces of equipment to help meet the sensory needs of our pupils. In addition to the aforementioned facilities pupils in HFS have access to swimming in the hydro therapy pool on the campus of St.Joseph’s Foundation and pony riding at Liskennett Equine Centre. For those pupils who have difficulty accessing Liskennett Equine Centre the ponies come to SJF two days a week where pupils get the opportunity to interact with the horses and benefit from the therapeutic effect of being in the company of such animals. Ariel Holy Family school is lucky to have a My Canine Companion school therapy dog, Ariel. She assists pupils transitioning from bus to classroom each day and accompanies them on walks or she simply enjoys being in the classroom.
