MD Drucklufttechnik GmbH & Co. KG
Deflection unit with sensor monitoring With the modular deflection unit many of the air motors, spindles and deburring systems from MD Drucklufttechnik GmbH & Co. KG can be combined. The unit is continuous deflectable up to 6° in one plane. The max. diameter is 60 mm, smaller diameters can be realized via adapter rings. The sensor monitors the zero
position and the maximum deflection. The sensor monitoring is used for protection against collisions as well as for displaying of the zero position and the working area. The deflecting unit can be combined with air motors up to 60 mm diameter (also with quick change chuck and speed monitoring), grinding spindles, filers and grinders. ‹

DEBURRING TECHNOLOGY
MEWO GmbH & Co. KG
Cryogenic deburring of rubber, plastic and non-ferrous parts MEWO is a process developer and manufacturer of cryogenic deburring/ deflashing machines, as well as washing-drying systems for the rubber-, plastic- and die-casting metal industry. The deburring process is carried out distortion-free and without any changes of tolerances, surface
quality, material characteristics and color. The technology is applicable for parts with highly sensitive surfaces, extremely thin wall thickness, complex geometries and undercuts made of all rubber materials, rubberplastic compounds, rubber-metal compounds and silicones, plastics,
duroplastics, thermoplastics, highly filled glass fibre reinforced plastics, like PPS GF 40 or PPS LGF 50 as well as manufactured from carbon fiberreinforced plastics (CFR) like PA6 CF 40 as well as non-ferrous metals such as zinc, aluminium, magnesium, titan, brass. ‹

POLISHING TECHNOLOGY
plasotec GmbH
Plasma polishing of metallic surfaces in the medical, precision and food technology For the plasma polishing process anodically polarized metallic work pieces are placed in an electrolytic bath. The electrolyte consists of a solution of about 98% water and 2 to 3% salt. This produces gas wetted the workpiece to be polished and results in process-induced development of plasma. This plasma coats the workpiece and leads to a reduction of the roughness as well as

the removal of organic and inorganic contaminants with minimal mass loss. Depending on the material specifications the material removal lies between 2 and 8 μm per minute. The geometric shape of the component is almost maintained. Materials which can be processed are all stainless steels, titanium, copper, brass and the alloys and CoCrMo. ‹
