hitford Worldwide, produttore della più grande e completa linea al mondo di rivestimenti a base di fluoropolimeri (nonstick e decorativi) per il settore industriale e consumer, ha annunciato un cambiamento nella sua struttura manageriale globale. In un recente Consiglio di Amministrazione, Anne S. Willis (fig. 1) è stata eletta all’unanimità Presidente e CEO della società a livello globale. La signora Willis è stata direttore generale di Whitford per l’Europa per 24 anni, oltre che responsabile del Global Management Team. David P. Willis Jr (fig. 2), fondatore e presidente di Whitford per 50 anni, diventa presidente del consiglio di amministrazione. Dave Willis ha dichiarato: “Sto per compiere 80 anni, ed è tempo che l’azienda compia il prossimo e logico passo per la sua crescita. Anne ha dimostrato il suo talento nei difficili mercati europei, e sono sicuro che sia prontissima ad affrontare le nuove responsabilità. Ora è lei a capo della nostra azienda: in questo modo io potrò lavorare e viaggiare meno. Tuttavia, Anne potrà consultarmi ogni volta che lo desidera”. Anne Willis ha dichiarato: “Sarà una sfida impegnativa, ma grazie alla squadra dirigenziale globale che abbiamo e alle nuove tecnologie che sveleremo, non ho dubbi che continueremo a far crescere notevolmente Whitford come avvenuto negli ultimi anni”. At a recent Board of Directors meeting, Anne S. Willis (Fig. 1) was unanimously elected to the positions of president and chief executive officer of the worldwide company. Ms. Willis had been Whitford’s manager of Europe for the past 24 years, as well as head of the Global Management Team. David P. Willis Jr (Fig. 2), founder and president of Whitford for 50 years, moves to chairman of the board. Said Dave Willis: “I’m about to 1 turn 80, and it was time for the next logical step in the 1 company’s growth. Anne has Anne S. Willis. proven her talents in the tough European markets, and I have every confidence that she is more than ready for the increased responsibilities. She is now in charge of the business, so I can work fewer hours and cut my travel schedule way back.
