ΤΑΚΤΙΚΕΣ ΚΑΙ ΣΤΟΧΑΣΜΟΣ για την ΕΜΠΕΙΡΗ ΣΥΝΑΝΤΗΣΗ με τη ΘΕΑ Τοπίο : Γεωγραφική ενότητα με κοινά φυσικά χαρακτηριστικά, Τοπιογραφία : Η τεχνική της αναπαράστασης της ταυτότητας ενός φυσικού χώρου έπειτα από εξαιρετική επιλογή και άσκηση στην ενδελεχή παρατήρησή του. Χώρος Γεγονότων : Επιλεγμένη γεωγραφική περιοχή που τίθεται υπό την οπτική και αισθητική διερεύνηση ώστε όλα τα περιεχόμενα στοιχεία της να μεταβληθούν (με επιλογή του παρατηρητή) σε συστατικά ενός προσωρινού πλήρους πεδίου στοχασμού για την πραγματικότητα και την εύρωστη ή ατελή σκέψη γιαυτήν. Ενεργοποιημένος Τόπος : Ο ήδη αναγνωρισμένος χώρος γεγονότων μετασχηματισμένος (μετά την ενδελεχή άσκηση της διερεύνησής του) σε συνεχές αρχείο οπτικών και αισθητικών αξιών εξαρτημένων από την χρονική αλλαγή τους.

Οι προθέσεις που εκδηλώθηκαν και χαρακτήρισαν κάθε ειδική διανοητική σχέση και πρακτική σκοπεύουσα ακριβώς στην πρόσκαιρη κατανόηση του πολλαπλού περιέχοντος πεδίου των αισθητηριακών ενδείξεων και των στοχαστικών διεγέρσεων που, συνήθως, αναφέρουμε ως τοπίο*, χώρο γεγονότων* ή ενεργοποιημένο τόπο* και οι πρακτικές καταγραφής και ανάλυσης κάθε και όποιας τέτοιας αναδυόμενης σχέσης, καθορισμένης έκτοτε και συνεχώς από ένα και κάθε ακριβές, αμιγές ή διαμοιρασμένο μείγμα-φαινόμενο (πίνακας, φωτογραφία) περιέχονται ήδη και προ πολλού συσσωρευμένες σε αρχεία έργων εξαιρετικής τεχνικής δεινότητας (πίνακες και φωτογραφίες σε όλη την κοινή ιστορία των τεχνικών της απεικόνισης ή ‘’ιστορία της τέχνης’’) αλλά και σε αρχεία έξοχων ποικίλων κειμένων (σημειώματα, εδάφια, κείμενα κριτικής και στοχασμού, προσβολής και εκγύμνασης της αντίληψης). Ο στοχασμός και τα όσα, εντέλει, δείγματα των επιτυχιών της σκέψης που έδειξαν εγκαθίδρυσαν και προσανατόλισαν το ενδιαφέρον επί αυτής της άριστης συνθήκης που περιέχει έναν ή μία παρατηρητή, ό,τι τον περιβάλλει και τον περιέχει και την καταγραφική του απόδειξη (δείγμα και ένδειξη) συγκροτούν ένα αρχείο υποθέσεων και θέσεων που καθοδήγησε για πολύ τον ουσιαστικό τρόπο αναφοράς και τις ειδικές διακλαδωμένες τυπολογίες του που αναφέρονται ως Τοπιογραφία. Η συστατική ποικιλία της ειδικής αυτής θεματολογίας περιέχει την τεχνική απεικόνιση κάθε δυνατής θέσης και σχέσης του παρατηρητή με το μερικό που παρατηρεί κάθε φορά ή το γενικό και περιέχον όλον. του Jakob van Ruisdael ‘’Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede’’ (1670), του Ansel Adams ‘’Mount Williamson’’(1944) και του Edward Hopper ‘’Gas’’ (1940), ένα ερώτημα παραμένει δυνατό και αναπάντητο, υπονομεύοντας το στοχαστικό και κειμενικό περιεχόμενο κάθε δείγματος τέτοιων εργασιών. Τι και πόσο ακριβώς από την παρούσα και συνολική ουσία της φύσης εννοείται και ορίζεται καθώς εμπλέκεται αυτή η περιβάλλουσα και ρέουσα φύση, ως στοιχείο, δείγμα, ζωτικό εύρημα και ουσία της ταυτότητας κάθε τέτοιου χειρισμού (ζωγραφίζω, φωτογραφίζω, σχολιάζω, γράφω) και της ασφαλούς και ακριβής αιτιολόγησής του; Πόσο πολύ, δηλαδή, από αυτή την έξωθεν ουσία, περιέχεται και δηλώνεται και τι σκοπό εξυπηρετεί εντός του κατασκευασμένου εικονίσματος. Εξαιτίας αυτού του ερωτήματος αποκαλύπτεται ακριβώς η ζωτική ιδεολογική συνάθρωση του τμήματος ‘’φύση’’ με την απόφαση και την χειρονομία της κατασκευής ενός ειδώλουσχόλιου γι’ αυτήν (εικόνα, κείμενο).

Όλα τα έργα έχουν επεξεργαστεί ψηφιακά. Οι διαστάσεις τους καθώς και οι αναλογίες δεν αντιστοιχούν με τα πρωτότυπα.

Αποκαλύπτεται, δηλαδή, πώς η επιλογή, η τοποθέτηση, η ερμηνευτική διάρθρωση του τμήματος ‘’φύση’’ σε μία εικόνα (πίνακας, φωτογραφία) ή σε ένα κείμενο παραβάλλεται μαζί με άλλα τμήματα σημασίας και δεν πρυτανεύει απόλυτα, εξ ολοκλήρου. Το τμήμα ‘’φύση’’ πληροί το υπόβαθρο μιάς εικόνας ή, εφόσον και όταν λείπει το σημαίνον και ισχυρό θέμα διαπραγμάτευσης, αποτελεί την βέβαια δήλωση της στοχαστικής και ιδεολογικής αδυναμίας του κατασκευαστή της εικόνας και του κειμένου. Η κατασκευασμένη εικόνα και το κείμενο περιέχουν, δηλαδή, και αναφέρουν σε όλους τους μεταγενέστερους θεατές πως η ισχύς της φυσικής δυνατότητας και παρουσίας δεν μπορεί να καθηλώσει τον παρατηρητή της (τον τεχνήτη κατασκευαστή της εικόνας ή του κειμένου), τουναντίον αφήνει ένα σημαντικό περιθώριο όπου εκδηλώνεται η πράξη της ανάπτυξης του ενεργήματος της κατασκευής της εικόνας και του κειμένου. Για να δηλωθεί, να μαρτυρηθεί, τι περισσότερο; Ο ενσυνείδητος παρατηρητής του τοπίου (ο μετεπειτα χειριστής και κατασκευαστής ενός πλαστού νοηματικού δυνατού πεδίου εκφρασμένου σε πίνακα ή φωτογραφία) δεν έχει καθηλωθεί σε ένα συνεχές οριστικής

Egually, in the ‘’Landscape with a calm’’ (1650-1651) painting by Nikolas Poussin, the ‘’The fall of Icarus’’ (1558) painting by Pieter Bruegel, the ‘’The evening star’’ aguarelle by Joseph Mallord William Turner, the ‘’Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede’’ (1670) painting by Jakob van Ruisdael, the ‘’Mount Williamson’’ photographs (1944) by Ansel Adams and the ‘’Gas’’ painting (1940), by Edward Hopper, a rigor question is standing active having no response and, thus, undermining the stochastic, textual and literal content of all such productions. How much of this ‘’nature’’ content is been held inside the depicted artistic phenomenon altering contemplation and research as the primary and only explanatory and guiding idea. It is because of that question that we have to reveal and examine the ideological assemblage between the ‘’nature’’ depicted constituent and the decision and process assumed by the artist to work and construct a representing idol/comment about it (the production of a painting, a text).

It is coherent and accurately related to state that the compositional choice, the frame positioning and the explanatory conjuction of this ‘’nature’’ component plugged in into an artistic structure (a painting, a photograph) or a text is always collate to multiple lateral appositions and it is not the primary visual consept element. The ‘’nature’’ component is either a neutral background of a painted picture or, in case there is an absence of a primary indicator-fingure becomes the leading evidence proving the meditative and ideological inadequacy of the craftman or writer. και αδιάσπαστης θέασης αλλά, κοιτώντας προς τα εκεί, επιθυμεί και καταβροχθίζει πολύ λιγότερα από όσα εκτίθενται και διατίθενται ως δυνατά και ενεργητικά νοηματικά συνεχή μπροστά και γύρω του. Αντιθέτως, μετά, προσθέτει ποικιλότροπες νάρκες νοήματος, μεταλλάσσοντας καταστρεπτικά την ήδη αναδυόμενη ταυτότητα της μελλοντικής κατασκευής του. Διαβάζουμε σε συνοδά και σχολιαστικά κείμενα τα επιχειρήματα οργάνωσης και σταθεροποίησης του νοήματος στους προαναφερθέντες πίνακες (τις προϋποθέσεις της δήλωσης της σημασίας τους) πως ‘’...Μετά την ολοκληρωτική ανεξαρτησία από τους καθολικούς Ισπανούς το 1648... η εθνική υπερηφάνεια αντικατοπτρίζεται στις τοπιογραφίες της εποχής... αντικατοπτρίζει την ευημερία της νεοϊδρυθείσας χώρας...’’ για τους πίνακες των ολλανδών τοπιογράφων του 17ου αιώνα. Διαβάζουμε επίσης πως ο πίνακας μπορεί να αποδίδει ‘’...the loneliness of an American country road…’’ ή ακόμη την ‘’...honest presentation of the American scene…’’

(Edward Hopper ‘’Gas’’1940), και ‘’… he focused on what he termed the spiritual-emotional aspects of parks and wilderness and relentlessly resisted to ‘’resortism’’ …’’ (φωτογραφίες του Ansel Adams). Όλα αυτά τα συνεδεμένα νοηματικά υπόβαθρα (...η εθνική υπερηφάνεια, η μοναξιά του επαρχιακού δρόμου, η πνευματική-συναισθηματική εμπειρία...) συγκροτούν ένα πεδίο παράλογης εκτροπής των κερδών της εμπειρίας ως κατασκευές διαμεσολάβησης και μείωσης αυτής της εμπειρίας μη επιτρέποντας στον ύστερο αναγνώστη και θεατή, τον αυτόπτη μάρτυρα και μερικό ή επαρκή αναμεταδότη τους (τον τεχνίτη του έργου) να εννοήσει αμέσως και ακριβώς, δια του βιωθέντος συμβάντος και της εμπειρίας του, πως η θέαση σε στάση και στοχασμό αλλά και η μαρτυρία αυτής της θέασης, με την κατασκευή ενός πίνακα, μίας φωτογραφίας, ενός κειμένου, αποτελούν και εγκαθιδρύουν μία περιοχή ατελούς σημασίας, ένα πληθωρικό τυπικό μαρτυρίας που δεν μεταφέρει τίποτε περισσότερο από την υπόστασή του ως μέρος μιάς άλλης, τιθασευμένης και ανεπαρκούς εμπειρίας όπως αυτής του ειδώλου του εαυτού σε ένα καθρέφτη. The observation and the synchronic* meditation about what the attracting landscape is carrying with should be the only, the definite continuum, of a completely powered experience releasing all its content to educate and fulfill/satisfy the spectator. Any afterward attempt to discribe it and constitute a close and verified interpretation produces a conceptual mine field of rapidly collapsing meaning. The only and profound mental connection between a human being looking at a landscape and the landscape entity as is is uniquely accomplished on site.

There is a flow of irrelevant announcements and short range comments intenting to stabilize, to enable and maintain the core meaning of these actions (to paint, to photograph, to narrate the one and any landscape) aiming to achieve the concept fortification of the material outcome (the paint, the photograph, the text). We can read about ‘’…the early national pride mirrored into the landscape paintings of that time… is carrying the identity of the newly liberated country…’’ as the primary and essential reason locating meaning for the paintings of the Dutch Landscape Painters of the 17th century. We can also read that the painting can convey ‘’...the loneliness of an American country road…’’ or and even more ‘’...the honest presentation of the American scene…’’ for the painting of Edward Hopper ‘’Gas’’ (1940), and, furthermore, that ‘’…he focused on what he termed the spiritual-emotional aspects of parks and wilderness and relentlessly resisted to ‘’resortism’’…’’ for the photographs of Ansel Adams commenting ‘’…the wild nature of America…’’

All these linked and firmly bridged correspondences to the illustrated landscape concepts and meaning bedrocks (…the national pride, the loneliness of a country road, the emotional-spiritual experience…) are constituting a field of irrational deviation from the values of the real –the site spesificexperiences thus, consequently, are functioning as interventional mental barriers accelerating the collapse of the attached accurate aesthetic mean-

και πρακτικής δραστηριότητας που ονομάζουμε ‘’τέχνη’’, όπως αυτό της τοπιογραφίας, βρίσκονται και παραμένουν έωλα σε μία περιοχή ασταθούς νοηματικού και μερικώς θησαυρισμένου περιεχομένου. Οριστικοποιώντας όλες τις παραπάνω παρατηρήσεις στην κριτική του σημασιολογικού περιεχομένου της ενότητας έργων και συμπεριφορών για το ‘’τοπίο’’ και την ‘’τοπιογραφία’’ αναφέρω, επιχειρώντας να διαλευκάνω το ζήτημα της επιθυμίας και της πρακτικής της δήλωσής της (δια της ενέργειας της κατασκευής μιάς κατασκευής) πως η απόπειρα επιβολής της ιδέας του φορέα και μεταφορέα ενός πλαστού αλλά ισχυρού και διαρκούς (δια της ύπαρξης και μετακίνησης κάθε τέτοιας κατασκευής στο χρόνο) νοήματος εμπίπτει στις γενικές συμπεριφορές των εμμονών των εγκατεστημένων θεολογικών τυπικών. Ο στοχαστής και φορέας της εμπειρίας ενός τοπίου δεν αρκείται σε αυτήν την μόνη και δική του εμπειρία (αυτός και ό,τι τον περιβάλλει σε οποιοδήποτε τυχαίο σημείο της γεωγραφίας) αλλά μετατρέπει αυτή την εμπειρία σε τεχνική πράξη απόδωσης και επιβολής ενός νοήματος που είναι πλέον επιβαρυμένο με ιδεολογικά χαρακτηριστικά. Η σχέση του θεατή ή έμπειρου αναγνώστη του τοπίου δεν μπορεί να είναι μεσολαβημένη από μία ύστερη κατασκευή, πόσο μάλλον, όταν αυτή η κατασκευή διακινείται στο χρόνο ως σύμβολο και σκοπός, ως ένα είδος ζωτικού εργαλείου μιάς τελετής κατασκευής και επιβολής ορίων και μεθόδων ανάγνωσης της ζωής ως επιτυχούς ή ατυχούς αθροίσματος εμπειριών και σχέσεων μεταξύ των συνόλων του εαυτού, αφενός, και του διαρκούς περιβάλλοντός του αφετέρου. Η κατασκευή ενός πίνακα ή φωτογραφίας ή κειμένου που αναπαριστά την μερική συμβατική εικόνα του φυσικού χώρου που βρίσκεται και είναι επιλεγμένος από τον χειριστή και μάστορα της κατασκευής, εμπρός του, περιέχει και όλα όσα δεν μπορούν να αναπαρασταθούν αλλά συναπαρτίζουν ακριβώς την ταυτότητά του. Τα συνοδά, δηλαδή, ερωτηματικά των ελλείψεών του. Περιέχει την έλλειψη του φυσικού

ing. Indeed, the actual and original meaning that springs out and dominate the correlation between the viewer and the landscape he stands into is the ad hoc action of looking at (the landscape) and the envisagement emerging because of that action. Any other act beyond and after that antecedent action (the narration, the writing, the painting, the printing of a photograph) is merely a constituant element forming a devalued conceptual field of inadequate experience resembling the experience of self in front of a mirror.

This constancy of purpose regarding the discipline of the construction of an imperfect narration aiming to fortify and conserve through time a meaning is similar to the so called ‘’spiritually’’ driven patterns of behavior. The thinker and carrier of the experience of stasis into a landscape (he and the everything ambient at any given geography) is not fulfilled and overwhelmed by it but, to the contrary, have to transform the impression to a technical process and, thus, convey and dictate ideology driven identities.

The structure (the painting, the photograph, the text) include visual properties of minor significance. Conventional elements carrying some of the value of the actual surrounding ambient. It is also carrying all that can’t be represented but, nevertheless, comprise its essential content. The lack of the sound code, the lack of the surplus of the surrounding left unidentified because of the frame limit, the visual anomaly accelerated by the ideological additions and prepossessions of the constructor, the always left unknown territory of the textual setting that had to elucidate and disclose all identity features left unidentified.

To each and all of these structures I have presented as examples in order to clarify their visual reading peguliarities and to crtically stand against their constitutional incompleteness, nonetheless their ideological irregularity, which are already standing into the so called history of art as ‘’masterpieces’’, I have identify major sympolic attachements undermining their syntagmatic intellectual positioning as constituents of a synthesis of practices aiming to exemplify and reveal the significance of the overall ambient of

ηχητικού κώδικα, περιέχει την έλλειψη του περιβάλλοντος πεδίου που υπολείπεται και, φυσικά, βρίσκεται έξω από την ειδική γεωμετρία της κατασκευής περιέχει την ανωμαλία των ιδεολογικών προσθέσεων και συναρτημάτων της ιδεοληψίας του κατασκευαστή, περιέχει την έλλειψη των παράταιρων και των αρρυθμιών που δεν μπορούν να ισχυροποιήσουν όσα και όλα όσα θέλει και επιχειρεί να ορίσει ως συστατικά της πλαστότητας της κατασκευής του, περιέχει εντέλει την άγνωστη περιοχή του κειμενικού ορισμού και καθορισμού του έργου του που θα έπρεπε να συνδέεται άρρηκτα με την υπόλοιπη δήλωση της ταυτότητάς του. Σε κάθε τέτοια και σε όλες τις κατασκευές που χρησιμοποιώ ως παραδείγματα σε αυτή την προσπάθεια ανάγνωσης, αναγνώρισης και κριτικής είτε του ελλειπούς συστατικού νοήματός τους είτε της ιδεολογικής ακαταστασίας τους, σεσημασμένες με τον τίτλο ‘’έργο τέχνης’’, έχουν εγκατασταθεί σημαίνοντα σύμβολα και ιδεολογικές υποθέσεις που διαβάλλουν και υπονομεύουν την συστατική τους θέση ως μερών ενός συνόλου πρακτικών για την ανίχνευση του περιβάλλοντος των γεγονότων και των ενδείξεων της ζωής. Η οχυρωμένη πόλη (στον Poussin), ο ανεμόμυλος (στον van Ruisdael), ο σταθμός ανεφοδιασμού (στον Hopper), η μυθολογία και η ιδεολογία (στον Bruegel), το υψόμετρο της φωτογράφισης (στον Adams), η μέθοδος (στον Turner) αποτελούν τον ακαθόριστο και άτακτο νοηματικό θόρυβο που διαστρεβλώνει συστηματικά την ιδέα, τους χειρισμούς και την σωστή εγκατάσταση των δειγμάτων της στην περιοχή των κατασκευών για την κατανόηση, την διαλεύκανση και την δραστική οικειοποίηση και απόλαυση του τοπίου. Μαζί με το φυσικό (όπως σημαίνεται στην εποχή του) τοπίο σχολιάζεται και η στιγμή της ιστορίας και του τεχνικού πολιτισμού στον πίνακα του Poussin, μαζί με το φυσικό τοπίο σχολιάζεται και η άνθιση η εγκατάσταση και η δυναμική της εφαρμοσμένης τεχνικής και τεχνολογίας στον πίνακα του van Ruisdael, μαζί με το φυσικό τοπίο σχολιάζεται και η στιγμή της άνθισης και της ιδεολογικής εγκατάστασης ενός τυπικού σχέσεων για την μετακίνηση και την παρατήρηση της φύσης από το εσωτερικό ενός οχήματος, δηλαδή,

The fortified city (Poussin), the windmill (van Ruisdael), the gas station (Hopper), the mythology and the ideology (Bruegel), the eye altitude (Adams), the method for the visual representation (Turner), are all tesseras of a communicational distortion and a concept shifting compromising their possible placement into the field of works aiming to guide consciousness to the comprehension and the radical appropriation and enjoyment of the landscape.

The crucial detail of the technology for the fortification of habitats is distorting the represantation of the landscape (Poussin), the flourish of the idea of a newly born nation together with the dynamic of the applied technology distort the landscape in the work of van Ruisdael, the flourish and the establishment of a new typologie of behavior patterns regarding the observation of nature from within a car and the cultural phenomenon of constant shifting into geography is the major component in the work of Hopper leaving nature in the context periphery as a factor of fear and weakness.

Similarly, the identity represantation of nature is standing within a much more crucial and importand declaration regarding the visual narration and depiction of a mythical dogma (the fall of Icarus into the quietness of the overall naturalistic frame) as the leading educational purpose of a dissolving philosophical concept. Icarus is falling, in the work of Bruegel, as the subject of a punishment demonstration derived from his attempt to find another, ‘’higher’’, stand to look at kosmos. In the work of Adams the positioning of the camera thus the positioning of the eye is not laying within the ordinary physical width as a metronome of an unsophisticated choice but it is situated at a certain hight beyond the capability of a human (Adams positioned his camera on the deck of his car) thus producing a direct ideological gesture and result. της απομόνωσης του ανθρώπου από αυτή (την φύση) και την από εκείνη τη στιγμή και μετά κατανόησή της της ως παράγοντα και περιοχή αδυναμίας και φόβου, στον πίνακα του Hopper. Με τον ίδιο τρόπο αυτός ο άτακτος νοηματικός θόρυβος εγκαθίσταται και στις εργασίες και τις απόπειρες των Bruegel, Adams και Turner. Στον Bruegel η δήλωση της ταυτότητας της φύσης περιέχεται στο εσωτερικό μιάς σημαντικότερης δήλωσης για τον συμβολισμό και τα τυπικά της υπονόμευσης της ειδικής εξιστόρησης και χρήσης της μυθολογίας ως σκοπού και ρυθμιστή μιάς προηγούμενης και ήδη απερχόμενης φιλοσοφίας για την ενιαία και μεριστή αντίληψη του κόσμου. Ο Ίκαρός του γκρεμίζεται στη θάλασσα ως δείκτης και θυσιαστικό δείγμα της αιρετικής ιδέας για την απόπειρα της κατάκτησης ενός άλλου πνευματικού ύψους, μιας νέας θέσης θέασης του κόσμου. Στόν Adams η θέση της φωτογράφισης ενός τοπίου άρα και η ιδεολογική στιγμή της υποδοχής και της κατανόησής του δεν είναι μία οποιαδήποτε τυχαία θέση αλλά μία ειδική θέση (για την συγκεκριμένη φωτογραφία η μηχανή στήθηκε πάνω στο αυτοκίνητο άρα σε ένα ύψος έξω από την δυνατότητα της φυσικής ανθρώπινης θέασης, συλλέγοντας, έτσι, μία εικόνα αδύνατη για την ανθρώπινη δυνατότητα, δυνατή όμως σαν μια από τις μυριάδες τεχνητές θέσεις συλλογής). Στον Turner, τέλος, η σειρά από μικρά δοκίμια για το ειδικό και κάθε ειδικό τοπίο και την δυναμική συνθήκη εντός της οποίας μπορεί να περιγραφεί απέδωσε μία και πολλές σειρές αλληλοδιαδόχων έργων για εκείνη την ακριβή στιγμή ή, καλύτερα, τη σειρά των στιγμών όπου, καθώς επιχειρεί να τις απεικονίσει, κατανοεί και σχολιάζει τον χρόνο ως ουσιαστικό συστατικό της παρατήρησης των συνεχών, ανεπαίσθητων αλλά διακριτών, αλλαγών στην υπόσταση του θέματός του αλλά και ολόκληρης της θέσης και σχέσης μεταξύ κάθε τέτοιου ευρήματος και της πειθαρχίας που απαιτείται για την παρατήρησή του. Ο Turner επιχειρεί μάταια να κάνει αυτό που μπορούμε, πλέον, να πραγματοποιούμε μαζικά και αυθαίρετα χωρίς προγραμματισμό ή θεωρητικό και στοχαστικό υπόβαθρο, με την απλή μηχανή λήψης πολλαπλών συνεχόμενων εικόνων, μετά τον εντοπισμό και κατά την εκδήλωση ενός στοχοποιημένου γεγονότος, με τη μηχανή λήψης video. Πέρα όμως από αυτή την έξοχη διαίσθησή του και την μάταιη δραστηριότητά του εισάγει και αυτός τον

what we all so easy and impulsively do using the digital video cameras in order to frame a section of the reality we are all drifting into. But, he is too, disable his achievement, inserting the conceptual noise into his work using secondary elements (the boy with the shrimp net and the dog) thus loosing the ability to present an elaborate and accurate result.

Rethinking the so far thoroughly presented analysis about the intention and the intellectual capability of the observer-producer while recording and representing the chosen actual and overall surrounding environment makes it easy to argue that all these compositional details and particular insertions, the so-called visual concept noise, are, seeing into the contemporary frame of thinking, vital and essential elements of the natural. The windmill, the gas station, the movement and the occupation of a frame presenting a landscape sequence, the movement of a ship, the positioning of the camera, the ideology driven narration of a myth are already fully accepted as functional elements forming a motivation bedrock, a contextual mixture, a perceptive plentiful connectability whenever they are occur and accumulate to constitute a meaning (a painting, a photograph). This kind of concept formations were not active and accepted into the time frame of these productions (17th century on till mid 20th century). Nature, already under the stochastic scrutiny of the emerging innovator man was a completely dinstict field of meaning, totally separated from the observer’s existence.

The hypothesis and the subsequent protasis I am presenting here is based on a series of technical decisions concerning the collection of visual footage information aiming to reveal and fortify the landscape pictorial question and, additionally, a textual line of comments proposed as highly active concept functions attached to the critical remarks already mentioned, commented and arranged regarding the artworks of the expert technicians. The protasis* is depending on the collection and the following presentation of a set of one minute video recordings of land, sea and skyscapes as found and experienced at site specific contacts. This discipline is a constitutional and syntagmatic category containing specific and considerable relational

ίδιο άτακτο νοηματικό θόρυβο στο έργο του. Δεν αντέχει την ειδικότητα και την ιδιαίτερη ταυτότητα του τοπίου που παρατηρεί ή δεν μπορεί να φτάσει στο σημείο εκείνο της εκλεπτυσμένης διάγνωσης των χαρακτηριστικών του και, μοιραία, εισάγει, προσθέτει, δευτερεύοντα στοιχεία όπως ‘’...το παιδί με το δίχτυ για τις γαρίδες και τον συνοδό σκύλο του...’’. Βέβαια, όλα τα στοιχεία που παρουσιάζω εδώ ως νοηματικό θόρυβο βρίσκονται εντέλει, εξεταζόμενα με την και εντός της σύγχρονης στοχαστικής, αναλυτικής και κριτικής διαβεβαίωσης, εντός της περιοχής του φυσικού γεγονότος. Ανήκουν και είναι συστατικά της φύσης και των σχέσεων που εκδηλώνονται ταυτόχρονα κατά την στιγμή της παρατήρησης που ορισμένες φορές καταγράφεται ως εύρημα και ως δείγμα και φορέας ιδεολογίας για την κατάσταση των πραγμάτων. Ο ανεμόμυλος, ο σταθμός ανεφοδιασμού, η κίνηση ενός παιδιού, η κίνηση ενός πλοίου, η θέση της μηχανής λήψης εικόνων, η ιδεολογική θέση και ο σχολιασμός ενός μύθου, είναι όλα, πλέον, συστατικά της κίνησης, της ταύτισης, των συμπλέξεων, των περιπλεγμένων δεσμών των στοιχείων που συναπαρτίζουν και συγκροτούν το θέμα της παρατήρησης που μπορεί να καταλήξει σε ένα έργο, μία κατασκευή. Τότε όμως δεν ήταν δυνατόν να κατανοηθεί και να υποστηριχτεί κάτι τέτοιο. Δεν υπάρχει και δεν μπορούσε να υπάρχει τέτοια γραπτή αναφορά ή σχόλιο. Η φύση βρισκόταν υπό την εποπτεία και την εξονυχιστική ερευνητική στρατηγική του αναδυόμενου ανθρώπου της νεοτερικότητας. Ήταν μία ξεχωριστή περιοχή νοήματος, ένα αυτόνομο και ιδιότροπο πεδίο σημασίας που βρισκόταν διαχωρισμένο από τον παρατηρητή, περιβάλλοντάς τον αλλά έξω από την υπόστασή του. Η υπόθεση και η πρόταση που παρουσιάζω εδώ στηρίζεται σε μία σειρά τεχνικών επιλογών συλλογής πληροφορίας για το τοπίο και μία σειρά σχολίων που προτείνω ως ισχυρά συναρτημένες ιδέες με τις κριτικές παρατηρήσεις που ήδη ανέφερα, σχολίασα και τακτοποίησα προηγουμένως σε σχέση με τους πίνακες-παραδείγματα. Η πρότασή μου εδράζεται στην συλλογή και την παρουσίαση σειράς μονόλεπτων καταγραφών τοπίων, όπως τα βρήκα και βρέθηκα εντός τους (υλικό ‘’όπως υπήρξε εκεί όπου βρέθηκε’’)

elements regarding the established manipulations and the aesthetical results and conditions (until the mid 20th century) although support and consist the apodosis*, the new and vivid concept deviations and suspensions providing the opportunity to allege that they are constituting a unique and fresh, highly elaborated and essential relationship regarding the moment when the observer is active within the field he choose to observe and meditate about.

The act of selection and recording are not and will not become the epicenter of a connected narrative mythology. I (We) am (are) always standing at or passing through and there is always the any place to stare at the everything existing. There are no ideal and perfect recording positions or carefully planed strategies but mere visual recordings and attached written material containing or not all that is forming my (our) dreams (in the form of a visual container and a set of notes giving an account of its value). The footage can shape and support my (our) self-awareness. It is the extreme material I will use to experiment with, confront with, distribute and dispose it as an educational archive and apothem*. A short period after the introduced collected items (the visual footage) are already detached from the reality they were belong to and their coherent time pocket. They are not anymore (never were) the reference or the firm conviction of a place but the ideal setting to rephrace my (our) standing before nature.

The sea I am collecting footage from, adopt and record its properties is not the actual sea I am crossing but the cognitive and stochastic type sea including all the tranquil and placid seas, the vast seas of the planet and all the connected multiple elements such as the pure and pellucid water, the populations and the varieties of their inhabitancy, their chemical continous and their stream flow paths, the mirroring of the skies, the mythology and the endless narrations referring to the surface and the extreme deep phenomena, the multiple editions of the historical crossings and navigation acts, the geography of their constantly transforming bed. The vast cultures are not the actual cultures I am crossing through but the ideal metaphore of the

με τρόπο και τεχνική που μαρτυρούν σημαντικά στοιχεία συγγένειας αλλά και εκκρεμείς νοηματικές αποκλίσεις ώστε να μπορώ να ισχυριστώ πως αποτελούν μιά νέα, ιδιαίτερα απαιτητική και ουσιαστικότερη σχέση με την διερεύνηση και το σχολιασμό της στιγμής που ο παρατηρητής και στοχαστής ενεργεί εντός της συνθήκης της παρατήρησης και του στοχασμού του. Η πράξη της επιλογής και η πράξη της καταγραφής δεν συνιστούν ούτε και πρόκειται να υποστηρίξουν μία μυθολογία για την κατασκευή του δείγματος-θέματος. Βρίσκομαι πάντα κάπου και κάπου πάντα υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να σταθώ και να κοιτάξω. Δεν υπάρχουν ιδεώδεις στιγμές ούτε ιδεώδεις τακτικές θέασης παρά μόνο καταγραφές και συναρτημένα κείμενα που περιέχουν ή δεν περιέχουν το υλικό των ονείρων μου, το υλικό που συμμαζεύει και υποστηρίζει την αυτεπίγνωσή μου, το υλικό με το οποίο θα πειραματιστώ, θα αντιπαρατεθώ, θα τακτοποιήσω ως διδακτικό αρχείο και απόθεμα. Πάντα, μετά από λίγο, το υλικό δεν ανήκει πλέον σε μία πραγματικότητα ούτε σε ένα χρόνο. Δεν παραπέμπει και δεν σημαδεύει τον τόπο και τις ιδιότητές του. Η θάλασσα που συλλέγω, υιοθετώ και καταγράφω τις ιδιότητές της, δεν είναι η συγκεκριμένη θάλασσα που διασχίζω αλλά είναι ο τύπος Θάλασσα που περιέχει όλες τις γαλήνιες και εύξεινες, τις απέραντες θάλασσες του πλανήτη αλλά και τα συνδεδεμένα ποικίλα εννοιολογικά συστατικά όπως το αμόλυντο και διαυγές περιεχόμενό της, τους πληθυσμούς και τις ποικιλίες των κατοικήσεών της, την χημική της σύσταση και καθαρότητα, το είδωλο του ουρανού στην επιφάνειά της, τους μύθους και τα συναρτημένα κείμενα για τις εκδοχές και τα φαινόμενά της, τις εξιστορήσεις και τις καταγραφές για τις τέχνες και τις τεχνικές που επέτρεψαν την διάβασή της, τη γεωγραφία του βυθού και τις μετακινήσεις της. Ο άνεμος, τα διερχόμενα οχήματα, οι άτακτες και τυχαίες φωνές και οι ακατάστατοι ήχοι συνθέτουν, συγκροτούν και υπερασπίζονται την ακριβή και βέβαιη ταυτότητα της πράξης της συλλογής. Χωρίς ένδειξη επιλογής, χωρίς ένδειξη τοποθέτησης και προετοιμασίας, χωρίς ένδειξη τακτοποίησης και κατασκευής ενός ιδεώδους μοναδικού υποβάθρου χαρακτηριστικών που θα υποστηρίξει, όπως γινόταν συνήθως μέσα στην παρελθούσα ιδεοληπτική στρατηγική των απεικονιστικών παραδειγμάτων

Αυτή η πράξη, η σημαντική επιλογή και η διαφοροποίηση - η συλλογή υλικού ‘’όπως υπάρχει εκεί όπου βρέθηκε’’- είναι μία από τις πολλές και επόμενες τακτικές που πρόκειται και πρέπει να χρησιμοποιηθούν κριτικά και να εξαπολυθούν ώστε να συμβάλλουν διαρκώς και ισχυρά στην απάλειψη του διαρκούς και άρρητου χάσματος σημασίας μεταξύ του υπάρχοντος-όπως είναι δείγματος μιάς ειδικής εκδοχής και κάθε ειδικής εκδοχής της εμπειρίας και του κατασκευασμένου-όπως πρέπει να είναι ιδεοληπτικού κοινοποιημένου δημόσιου και, συνήθως, επιβεβλημένου καθοδηγητικού γνωσιακού αποτελέσματος. Πρόκειται, όπως φαίνεται από όλα τα παραπάνω για μία πολιτική και ιδεολογική στρατηγική τακτοποίησης του δυνατού νοήματος της σχέσης με το περιβάλλον όλον. Μία απόπειρα σύνθεσης και, αμέσως, άμεσης διδασκαλίας ενός τρόπου και μίας σειράς χειρισμών αυτεπίγνωσης και αναγνώρισης του περιβάλλοντος στην ακμή της παγκόσμιας συζήτησης για την πιθανή κατάρρευση των ισορροπιών και των ορίων διαβίωσης στον πλανήτη. Πρόκειται, ακόμη, για την συντονισμένη και ακριβή ανάπτυξη του αποτελέσματος του πρώτου αυτού στοχαστικού και πρακτικού δείγματος στο δικτυακό σύμπαν γιατί έτσι αυτή η στοχαστική και αποκαλυπτική του δυναμική (συλλογή οπτικο-ακουστικού υλικού και κείμενα-σχόλια-τεχνικές οδηγίες και γνωσιακές συμπεριφορές) διαφεύγει από την τροπικότητα των τοπικών διάφορετικών χειρισμών και διεκδικεί την προοδευτική της και ταχεία εξάπλωση και διανομή στον πλανήτη. Η έκθεση των ευρημάτων και των συνοδών τους κειμένων απαιτεί και στηρίζεται σε μία αυστηρή και εύπλαστη γνωσιακή πειθαρχία ανοικτή σε χειρισμούς, συστάσεις και συστατικές εκδόσεις διαλόγων και ερωτημάτων, σε τακτοποιήσεις και ανασυνθέσεις, σε δάνεια και επανεκδόσεις του υλικού της. Αυτή η ψηφιακή υποστήριξη, δυναμική και δυνατότητα που δανείζει και επικαιροποιεί, διανέμει και συλλέγει ομοιότροπα όλα τα υλικά της, κάθε επόμενη συνοδό σκέψη και χειρισμό, που είναι και αμέσως δεν είναι και δεν ανήκει, που μπορεί και δεν εξαρτάται από την δυσκίνητη τυπολογία της έως τώρα υλικότητας (έκθεση, έκδοση, πώληση, διανομή, αντικείμενα, χώροι, τελετές, υποστηρίξεις) θα δω και θα δούμε αν και σε τι βαθμό μπορεί να διαπεράσει εξαιρετικά και διαρκώς την ιστορική σύμβαση των τελετουργικών ακολουθιών και να διαμορφώσει έναν ή πολλαπλούς γνωσιακούς θύλακες ταχέων και ανθεκτικών, κοινών, συλλογικών και έξοχων δράσεων.

its core elements and constantly revising its bedrock values. Uniformly distributing and rapidly collecting each and every minor and major compositional component, every following valuable thought and intellectual gesture having and, instantly, having not a supportive and specific positioning. This autonomous and self oriented attempt standing far away from the bulky typologies of materiality (material exhibitions, editions, contribution, purchase, objects, spaces, rituals, supporting ethics) is going to be the new digital ability for a perceptive making of a way through the historical convention to form one and multiple cognitive pockets of fast forward and compact, collective and outstanding actions.

Iordanis Stylidis is an Assistant professor at Volos Department of Architecture. He holds a diploma of Architecture and a diploma of Economic Theory from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki-Hellas and the Macedonian University of Thessaloniki-Hellas. He is constantly involved in multiple public arts practices since 1980 including 17 solo exhibitions, 6 performances, 2 installations and 20 digital diaries.

Additionally he is the author of multiple essays of criticism referring to various performance artists called ‘’answering to’’. He is the author of the books ‘’The Geography of Water’’ (NISIDES, Thessaloniki 2006), ‘’Transporting Memories’’ (CANNOTNOT EDITIONS, Thessaloniki 2009), and ‘’An urban Block’’ (KENTRI, Thessaloniki, 2013).

He is also the athor of multiple digital diaries reffering to educational voyages, documentation and design workshops and personal stochastic evaluations of the urban environment and the open landscapes.

His new totally digital exhibition under the title ‘’Topiographia’’ (Topiography) is going to be uploaded in the web late November.
