ITH I is an interior design studio based in Bangkok Thailand. The company has won an award for its XT Ekkamai project. Located in Bangkok’s hipster district the building is close to many unique cafés, bars and restaurants, where 24-hour non-stop fun is on tap for the city’s millennials. Each client completes a ‘lifestyle test’ to verify the personalised room layout that will suit their needs. This brand-new concept is due to be launched in three locations across Bangkok and will offer a ‘sharing facility’, which means that residents can have access to a gym, lounge and co working space at any of the locations regardless of which condominium they live in across the city.
This striking building rises majestically over Bangkok skyline and is a sight to behold with blue and purple rubber lighting tubes wrapped around the white building, which cannot be missed by passers-by. A step inside reveals a pure white reception area with a series of eye-catching blue tubes suspended from the ceiling and connecting to the façade. A coffee bar area replaces the traditional reception desk with street graffiti completing the décor. Each bedroom is decorated to reflect the client’s tastes, character and lifestyle with bold colour schemes matched with vibrant coloured furniture. The XT Ekkamai has certainly created a strong statement within the Thai condominium industry.
