FB are sea their group framework, wide to sup
Recently, FB trialled an employment program with the Local Jobs Program pathway with limited success, due to a number of competing factors, and a major reason being the candidates offered were nowhere near job ready. On review, the latest pilot allowed FB to understand what it takes in terms of people and resources to run such programs, and therefore are now looking for a company who can embed themselves, manage this process for them and demonstrate real employment outcomes that are cost effective across a variety of programs
FB run a number of non accredited and accredited programs across their entire businesses and it is not FB’s intention to change or have a solution impact their current internal offerings More importantly, it is how the education partner can help them long term in attracting, retaining and managing the entire employment and training programs.
Currently FB, like many Australian companies have specific workforce challenges and have a critical need now within two of their businesses, that being Tradelink and Summit FB would like to embark on a development plan with an ‘employment solution’ to help these companies attract, nurture and manage their employee’s careers FB are open to a pre employment model, piloting a program in one state, then successfully launching a national program which could expand their current offerings under the Apprenticeship/Traineeship pathway
FB are open for the provider, to support them across their entire business units with other opportunities powered by IntoWork Australia at a later stage. For example: Disability employment options via Interact Australia or MRAEL powering a national Academy model to support growth
We are a not for profit organisation that is firmly committed to creating new apprenticeship/traineeship opportunities, providing training and connecting people and businesses to strengthen the skills capacity of their workforce
Our goal is to be the “go to” people for pathways into a wide range of industry sectors. We take great pride in creating opportunities to allow job seekers to realise their potential.
We pride ourselves in providing a ‘national strategy, delivered locally’
We believe each business under FB need their own employment solution which is ‘tailored’ to their own needs
To make this happen, we are suggest offering a three staged approach starting with an Apprenticeship Management Program pilot in Queensland with MRAEL to help source suitable candidate across FB’s distribution centres, Trade link and Stramit businesses.
The following is a high level solution of the three stages which includes a range of IntoWork businesses
