Yasemin S amdereli arbeitete als Drehbuchauto-
rin und Regisseurin bei der Bavaria Film. Ihr Film Kismet wurde für den Max Ophüls Preis nominiert. 2002 drehte sie nach eigenem Drehbuch die Multi-Kulti-Liebeskomödie Alles getürkt!. Ihr erster Kinospielfilm Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland feierte auf der Berlinale 2011 seine Premiere und gewann im selben Jahr den Deutschen Filmpreis (Bestes Drehbuch) sowie den Filmpreis in Silber, Kategorie Bester Film. B rennicke ist Schauspielerin und
Sängerin. Sie war für den Deutschen Fernsehpreis für Hotte im Paradies (2005) und Polizeiruf 110: Silikon Walli (2002) nominiert. 2001 erhielt sie den Adolf-GrimmePublikumspreis für Das Phantom. In dem gerade abgedrehten Kinofilm Die Banklady spielt sie die Hauptrolle. A ndreas S chmidt ist ein Charakterdarsteller. Für
seinen Auftritt in dem Film Pigs Will Fly (2002), wurde er für den Deutschen Filmpreis als Bester Hauptdarsteller nominiert. Dem großen Kinopublikum ist er aus Sommer vorm Balkon bekannt. (Nominierung Deutscher Filmpreis, Bester Nebendarsteller). Für Fleisch ist mein Gemüse erhielt er den Deutschen Filmpreis für die Beste Nebenrolle (2008). Aktuell ist er in Huck Finn im Kino zu sehen.
Yasemin Samdereli works as a screenwriter and director for Bavaria Film. Her short film Kismet was shown at numerous festivals and nominated for the Max Ophüls Preis. In 2002 she wrote and directed the multi-cultural love comedy Alles getürkt! for television. Her cinematic debut, Almanya – Welcome to Germany premiered at the 2011 Berlinale and also won the Deutscher Filmpreis for Best Screenplay and a silver Filmpreis for Best Film that same year.
Daniel Ebner is curator and Head of VIS Vienna Independent Shorts, film journalist for APA Austria Presse Agentur, was the EU Committee of the Region´s Young European Talent in 2009 and in 2010 co-initiator of the ASIFA series "Animation Avantgarde". He recently announced that he was jointly responsible for the union of all Austrian film festivals.
Nadeshda Brennicke is an actress and singer. She was nominated for two Deutscher Fernsehpreis Awards for her work in Hotte im Paradies (2005) and Polizeiruf 110: Silikon Walli (2002). In 2001 she received the Adolf-Grimme Audience Award for Das Phantom. She has just finished work as the lead actress in the feature Die Banklady.
Andreas Schmidt is a character actor. He was nominated for a Deutscher Filmpreis Award as Best Actor for his appearance in the feature Pigs Will Fly (2002) and is known to cinema audiences for his role in the hugely popular Summer In Berln (Nominated for Deutscher Filmpreis, as Best Supporting Actor). For Fleisch ist mein Gemüse he was awarded with the Deutscher Filmpreis for Best Supporting Actor (2008). He currently appears in the cinema feature Huck Finn.
