Different trade shows and events across the globe gave us an opportunity to interact with current and potential customers. The goal was to promote and raise awareness of Amcor’s sustainability and Innovation. Along with that, we also sponsored a few events to be present in the minds of the customers and to boost brand visibility.

Visitphère is the most subscribed online magazine with around 136,000 visitors/month and has a massive database of winegrowers.

Therefore, to reach our target clients, we sent emails through Vitisphère. The focus this time was on EASYPEEL to reflect the benefits and advantages of our aluminium capsule.

Tradeshow – Prowein 2023

Amcor Capsules participated at Prowein 2023 in Germany as a member of the Aluminium Closures Group. This is one of the biggest international tradeshows with approximately 6,000 exhibitors, coming from more than 60 countries.

This year, the event was considered a huge success with a total of 49,000 trade visitors from 141 countries (2022: 38,000).

At the trade show, our booth received good traction from the visitors and exhibitors for our innovation: SHAPEART TEXTURE!

TRADE SHOW WINE

Event – A Sustainability/Innovation customer focus event in Germany

In order to reinforce our customers’ perception of Sustainability & Innovation, the German Marketing & Sales Team had co-organized an event gathering 15 guests including customers, prospects, and distributors such as Dreissigacker and some family-owned winemakers such as Flick.

The goal was to make customers aware of our product innovations and our direction towards sustainability. Customer feedback was extremely positive and they showed interest in EASYPEEL and STELVIN® Inside.

EVENTS

The newborn association group of ‘Gli Svitati’ created by 5 pioneer screwcap companies in Italy, has launched the initiative to organize one of the most influencing events on screwcaps locally. At this event, Amcor Capsules co-participated with our exclusive distributors Paolo Araldo and Guala Closures. We were the exclusive sponsorers of the event.

120 oenologists, sommeliers, journalists, and restaurateurs attended the event, to hear about the advantage of using screwcaps and to enjoy the impressive wine tasting setup. A press release here highlights why Jermann Winery chose STELVIN® screwcaps for their entire product range!

Event – Innovation & Sustainability Day in Champagne with

Mumm- PJ

Our Sales & Marketing team met the Pack Development and Sustainability teams of Mumm Perrier-Jouët at Mareuil. A full day on Innovation & Sustainability was organized to present our sustainability roadmap and innovative ideas for the future.

The meeting was very well perceived, and a meeting will be set up before June to meet their marketing team in Paris to present our innovative ideas both in terms of packaging improvement & premiumization.

Tradeshow – WiVi Central Coast Show

Amcor showcased and promoted its products and innovations at the WiVi Central Coast show in Central California. The traffic at the booth was quite high. Wineries were more interested in screwcaps than capsules. There were wineries that came to us especially looking for STELVIN® LUX as they are more premium.

IMPRESSIONS was of interest to many small wineries as they want to engage with their customers in a unique way.

TRADE SHOW WINE

Like every year, we also organized a Customer Appreciation Party this year along with TricorBraun in Paso Robles, California.

We invited 24 of our customers and the purpose was to get to meet everyone and appreciate their business. It was quite interactive, and our CSRs enjoyed meeting the customers whom they regularly work with.

EASYPEEL at the Oscars!

As you all have seen in CAPS COFFEE NEWS, we were honored to see that our largest EASYPEEL customer, Clarence Dillon Wine Estate was selected to be the official partner of the Oscars, and their wine Clarendelle capped with EAYPEEL was served during the prestigious awards ceremony.

It was also the 2nd consecutive year that Fleur de Miraval, the renowned Rosé Champagne owned by Brad Pitt, was selected as the official Champagne of the Ceremony. Amcor has been supplying their LUXETAIN hood since the creation of Miraval in 2020.
