TStaycation imeless Journeys with Sage – Lake Buchanan by Kimberly “Sage” Pridemore Welcome to Infinity Magazine’s exciting adventure feature, “Timeless Journeys with Sage.” Sage has been with the Infinity team for several years, her wisdom, knowledge and experience makes her a perfect fit as Infinity’s Travel Editor for this special feature.

2020 has remained a stay-at-home year due to Covid19 travel restrictions. I had three trips planned for this year: Oregon, the South of France and the British Virgin Islands. So far, all are on hold.

Staycation – Lake Buchanan

This month, I am going to share with you a boating and camping trip Ray and I did in June. We both have homes on Lake Buchanan, Texas, and spend much of our time in and around the water. We have felt blessed and fortunate to spend quarantine in the Texas Hill Country together. We have been doing a lot of swimming, pontooning, cooking and eating! I am a gypsy by nature, and wanderlust is in my blood, so as soon as other vacation plans looked too risky, I came up with a great idea: camping!

Greetings from Texas! My last trip of 2019 was to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ray and I spent Christmas with my son Ari, and son-in-law, David. Little did I know that this would be my last trip for sometime.

There are a couple islands in the middle of Lake Buchanan that we often pass on our Pontoon. The Pontoon has two names, by the way: Gypsy Mermaid and Imagine That. We each named her appropriately.

Each issue will be a wonderful adventure with Sage as she travels to amazing destinations. Sage will share her travels with helpful tips, interesting facts about her fun filled and relaxing get-aways!

Summer’s Twilight 2020

Over Memorial weekend, we spotted an awesome cove on the bigger island. It looked perfect to pitch a tent and make it our home for a couple of nights. Within two weeks, our plan manifested. Lake Buchanan is the second largest of the Highland Lakes in Central Texas, with a length of 30 miles and a width at the widest point of just under 5 miles. Lake Buchanan also has an outstanding 124 miles of shoreline. Lake Buchanan is very popular with boaters, campers, fisherman and swimmers. One major benefit of being on a lake this large, is that you’ll never feel crowded. It is located 60 miles northeast of Austin and 95 miles north of San Antonio. Ray was super excited that I actually wanted to camp out in the middle of the lake, so he began making his list of what we needed to bring. I was in charge of food. We decided to spend two nights and loaded up our pontoon with a tent, floaties, sleeping bags, ice chests and a few other things to make our camping as close to glamping as Ray would let us! From Ray’s house, it is about a twenty minute boat ride. So, if we forgot anything (and we did) it was only a quick return trip. It had been almost twenty years since I went camping. I was super excited to decompress with a good book, my journal and some sunshine! Our first day after setting up camp was spent mostly in the water and on our rafts. Ray did some fishing and we hiked the island in the late afternoon. The best part of this trip was that we had nothing planned, and nothing to do, but relax and chill out. Dinner consisted of campfire potatoes, grilled corn on the cob and cheeseburgers and brats! Delicious. We shared a wonderful bottle of Tempranillo from our local winery, Perissos Vineyards, while watching the sun set over the lake. Ray made a campfire and we spent some time just enjoying the beautiful stars and night sounds. We also made s’mores over the open fire for dessert. It was super easy to climb in my sleeping bag and fall fast asleep.

jet skis to the island to join us for some lunch and swimming. What a great way to enjoy the day! My day also included reading, journaling and napping. We decided to take a sunset cruise and have dinner on the boat. We enjoyed shrimp cocktail appetizers and assorted cheeses. Dinner was a simple Greek salad with roasted chicken and feta, crusty bread and grapes. After we docked the boat back at our campsite, Ray made a fire and we again enjoyed an evening of listening to the crickets, the waves on the shore, all with a stunning full moon overhead. That night, we decided to sleep on the boat under the moon to enjoy the fresh, cool wind. It took me awhile to fall asleep that night, but I felt very blessed to be so in the flow with nature. It made me remember how much I loved sleeping outside as a kid. I made a vow not to wait another twenty years to do it again. The next morning I awoke to the smell of coffee brewing and the sun rising. I felt super refreshed and renewed. Sleeping on the pontoon was not so bad! We took our time packing up our campsite and loading up the Gypsy Mermaid. We also started making plans to come back and do it all again in late summer. So I have two zen moments on this trip. One was sleeping on the pontoon under the full moon and the second was getting back to Ray’s and jumping in the shower and staying there for 20 minutes! Nothing like a hot shower and washing your hair after two days of camping! Next issue I will be sharing my Santa Fe, New Mexico adventure! Blessings, Sage Obviously Ray and my camping trip was something we pulled together on our own, however I am going to share some cool places to stay and things to do if you ever get out in my neck of the woods. Flying into Austin or San Antonio is suggested, in addition to renting a car so you can explore all of Texas Hill Country. Places to stay on Lake Buchanan:

The next morning, we were up with the sun drinking coffee and watching fishing boats while the bacon cooked. I made us bacon, eggs and fresh fruit for breakfast. Later that afternoon, our friends rode their

Bearing Witness by Cynthia M. Brown I have written about my mother’s struggles with cancer in the place before. It has been over 10 years since her first diagnosis of stage 3 ovarian cancer. A year after that first diagnosis, the news was more grim; stage four, metastatic estrogen receptive ovarian cancer of the lymphatic system. Over the years it has invaded her brain twice and her liver and she has beaten the odds and lived...long enough to become a great grandmother. Not bad for someone with a prognosis of two to four months at the age of 69. She will be 79 this October. I write of her again in this space because the battle has been renewed. Her cancer is on the march, causing renal failure, fluid on the lungs and horrible pain as her lymph nodes swell with disease and throb in agony. She has had emergency kidney surgery to place stints to help her kidney function. She has had her lungs drained and has an oxygen tank to help her breath as her lungs heal. Her treatments began again. They require almost 7 hours to apply. The trip to the clinic is one hour each way, traffic and weather permitting. I write of these events as summer wanes because fall has always been my mother’ season. I write of these things because my sister, with whom my mother lives, bears the responsibility of caring for her. My sister cared for my father through 20 years of heart disease and two broken hips. She did that while caring for my mother during the early years of her disease and healing from her own heart attack. I write of these things here because I am 10 hours from home and unable to be of much help. I write of these things to bear witness to my sister’s unconditional love and care of our parents and her unwavering faith that it is her honor to do so. I write of these things because I am learning to steward by being in prayer and holding space, things not easy for a person of action who is accustomed to fixing things, to doing something. I write because this summer feels like the end of something larger than a season. No one is immune to the fact that my mother is a decade older, that her body has endured massive stress from her disease and from the therapies applied to extend her life. No one

Summer’s Twilight 2020

is immune to the fact that my father, her mate of 58 years has been gone for five years this September, and that while she has much family and love in her life, the void left from 58 years of companionship cannot be filled and she is lonely and tired. It feels as if the wind has shifted and the season, like fall, the season of transition is upon us. I write because fall is her season. It is the season of her birth. It has been the season in which she has always planned...holidays, next year’s vacation, next year’s gardens, next year’s care of the house. I write this because as summer ends, it is the season of the beginning of her life’s end. It is somehow fitting that we, her daughters, begin the emotional planning of this change of season. We begin the march toward the tribe of the parentless. It is a march we face with great sadness for we have been blessed to have had them both for 50 years and our mother for more than that. So, I listen a great deal and read a great deal from my sister. She writes how honored and humbled she is to share in the intimacies of caring for our mother. She tells me of how many things our father confided in her as he aged and needed her help more and more. She unburdens her heart after she has held our mother as she shook uncontrollably from pain and chills. She tells me of our mother’s grace and fortitude at the indignities of needing help with such intimate self care as going to the bathroom or showering or sometimes when the pain is relentless, of feeding her. For her, it is a familiar stewardship. She, along with my mother, took the same loving care of my father, while I watched and listened from afar; able to return home only for short visits to give her respite and to raise their spirits. I watch and listen from afar and learn what unconditional love means and how it is lived everyday. I learn to be in an attitude of prayer and thanksgiving each waking moment for their life; their example of grace, courage and dignity at life’s final transition. I have come to understand that my stewardship is perhaps more difficult in some ways. I am here to bear witness, not up close; not to their suffering or transition. My stewardship is to bear witness to the life and love of my sister. It is painful to watch her and to hear her pain as she endures our mother’s pain and as she feels the loss so closely. It is painful not to be able to be of more help. It is also an honor and my humble privilege to do so.

Infinity

This summer will end. Our mother’s life is in the hands of God and her healers. She may be with us another fall. She may transition. I only know for certain that my journey from afar has changed me and I am made wiser and better by understanding it. May you find peace and wisdom as we all journey to the fall and winter of the year.

Notes from a Conscious Filmmaker, Part 2 by Nikki Luna Williams, Producer/Director of Time of the Sixth Sun

Several years into the making of this film and interviewing wisdom keepers from all over the world, I had what you might call a ‘white light’ moment. For my narration, I had originally intended for an actor to play the part of the unseen ‘collective consciousness’ by way of a voice over, and I had been mulling over in my head who would be best cast in this part. Ben Kingsley, because of course, he will always be Gandhi in our minds eye, and could therefore hold the huge energy of the invisible realms. But then in that moment of white light clarity, I realised that I could go for the real thing instead. I had been following a very grounded ‘channel’ called Geoffrey Hoppe of The Crimson Circle, who had been channeling an angelic being called Tobias for many years. I loved Tobias so much as he had such a warm affection for us human beings. He had a grandfatherly nature, and spoke from the collective overview with both compassion and humour.

8

Pictured: Geoffrey Hoppe

So I got in touch with Geoffrey and his wife Linda, and arranged to fly over to Colorado the following month. On the 14th of July 2010, we sat in Geoffrey’s living room and I shared the journey I had been on so far, as in who I had already interviewed for the film and the topics we had covered. I then blurted out the question on my lips, and asked Tobias if he would tell our story? Even though I was speaking to Geoffrey, Tobias was never far away and Geoffrey confirmed after a moments reflection, that he would. I turned on the two cameras and the zoom mic I had taken with me and started recording… a couple of minutes passed whilst Geoffrey surrendered into a trance state, and then I heard those beautiful opening words, spoken through the velvety dulcet tones of Geoffrey, who was affectionately known as (*) ‘Cauldra’ by the spirit world. That was their name for the vessel who Tobias would speak through.

Summer’s Twilight 2020

“And so it is. It is I, Tobias. I’m going to speak here for just a moment before we actually get into recording the narration. I’ll just adjust how I sit so (*) Cauldra is comfortable. Now I’m going to make a few comments here and then we’ll get into the taping….. “I am that I am. The voice of spirit manifest in human form, speaking to you across time and space. I Tobias, son of Tobit, have lived here on Earth many lifetimes before, and I will return again. I walk this journey with you, as your guide, as we collectively co-create our future and our potentials.” Bringing in all of the energies of this intense and high consciousness film into this gathering right now with all of you who are here, of course, but we’re taking a moment to adjust to the energies for all of it’s potentials, for all of those who will ever view this, for all of those who indeed will help to finance this for you. Bringing in the potentials right now of those who are beginning on their journey of awakening, even they don’t know it yet, but something deep within them called out, whether it was years ago in this lifetime, whether it was many lifetimes ago, whether they were in the monasteries or any of the other religious orders, whether they were holders of the energies of Earth for this new awakening…… Let’s bring their consciousness into this film right now. Not just the ones who are on tape, not just I, Tobias, but of all of them because indeed what you are doing here is, you are creating a universal product, you are creating what I’m going to term here and in our discussion….the fruit of the rose. The fruit of the rose is a term that I use….it describes the awakening or the remembering that we all put on Earth for ourselves, knowing that at a certain time the awakening would be here, we would need to remind ourselves or indeed the angelic beings on the other realms help to remind humans. Gaia herself has the energy of remembrance in herself but, ultimately it comes down to each and every individual human, allowing themselves to remember that they put their own awakening message, their own awakening sign on this Earth in their reality, in their physical body for themselves, and we call this “the fruit of the rose.” It is so easy to get lost in this duality and it’s so easy to forget your way and forget where you came from, and it’s so easy to get immersed in this thing called human reality on Earth, and you forget. So many humans create a type of nightmare for themselves, repeating lifetimes over and over. Coming back to Earth with the same relationships as the ones that they had just left, coming back to the same

Infinity

problems and difficulties and challenges. It is indeed like a bad dream, and they keep trying to find their way out of that prison. They keep trying to discover new ways to break out but all of the time, because they’re using the old human tools, in a way they are just digging themselves in deeper. There does come a point of surrender, also a point of remembering. When they come across this beautiful symbol, the fruit of the rose, the reminder that they put on Earth for themselves, to awaken, then the awakening process starts unfolding. It doesn’t happen in one day or one year, and for many humans it may not even happen in one lifetime. But the process indeed does start happening. Everything starts changing with the human. The very path that they had been on, the path of what you’d call destiny or karma, starts to change. At that point the human feels that they are out of control because the old systems aren’t working anymore. Their old tricks aren’t working. Something is happening deep within them. They feel very much like the caterpillar going into it’s cocoon, like the caterpillar going into the cocoon not knowing what’s going to happen next, transforming into what the old caterpillar feels is ‘mush’ - losing all of it’s caterpillar strengths and it’s caterpillar tendencies and it’s caterpillar defences. At this point of course, the caterpillar or the human, is terrorized, frightened, filled with fear, an uncertainty, going into a period of the dark night of the soul, but is it really? Is it really the dark night of the soul or is it the surrendering back unto themselves. Is it the releasing of all of the caterpillar illusions and all of the caterpillar lies, the releasing of the caterpillar mind so that it can emerge into what it truly is - a butterfly. The humans who are going through their awakening find many many parallels with this. They start to lose their mind, or control of their mind. It’s not that anybody is taking that away from them, rather it is that they are going beyond the limitations of the mind, limitations that were placed there when the angels first came to Earth. Right now, those who are awakening, are going out of their minds. They’re discovering that there’s something much grander, what you may call the soul, the divine intelligence, the all-knowing mind. It goes far beyond the capabilities of the human mind and unlike the human mind, in the reservoirs of its memories, it contains no (Continued on pg. 10)

9

(Continued from pg. 9) judgement, it contains no limitation, it contains no duality, the duality of love and hate, masculine and feminine, light and dark. The divine mind does not judge these things, it just understands it’s own experience. In the awakening, the body starts to transmute, what some may feel is the body falling apart is not at all. The body is releasing it’s old systems to create new systems. It’s transforming at the level of the DNA and even deeper than that, the body is bringing up an element that it’s always had but has long been put away. That is the element of rejuvenation. The ability to cleanse itself without having to overload yourself with vitamins, with systems with programs, but simply giving permission for your body to heal. Giving permission for your body to do what it already knows how to do. The body has this capability already within it and in the awakening, the body goes through a transformation. A clearing and a cleansing to make way for your own natural healing system. So if you’re not, if it feels like your body is falling apart, fear not those wrinkles that you get on your face, fear not if you end up sick for a period of time because your body is going through an intense cleansing. As fear not, as many of you do, coming in contact with what you consider out of balance energies outside of you, because your body already knows how to transmute, you see energy is just energy. When you go beyond the illusion that there’s good or bad, or healthy and unhealthy, light or dark, you begin to understand that energy is just energy. It was created from a pure space. It was put into motion and put into structure by you, to help solidify your reality and at any time when you come into the place of openness, compassion and surrender to your self, you can transmute ANY energy, no matter how light or dark, no matter how imbalanced because at it’s core, you’ll recognise that it is just energy. This film is part of the fruit of the rose for so many people. Tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands or millions who’ll hear the words, see the pictures and feel the essence, the essence of what is contained herein, not just playing on a screen or through speakers but the essence as being brought together by it’s producers, by it’s supporters, by those who are on film. It is a way of bringing together a unified message, a message of awakening, a call to awakening - that is, what the energy and the consciousness of this creation is about. Allow yourself to sink deep into it because you are in this

10

production as well, even if you don’t appear on the screen, even if you think you have never heard of this production before, if you are listening to it, if you are watching it, you ARE part of the essence. Your energy, your fruit of the rose is in here as well. So….now that I’ve said my piece, we’ll clear (*) Cauldra’s sinuses a bit and we’ll get on with this other part you’ve asked us to do.” Over the next hour or so, Tobias told us the story of how the planet was created right up to the eventual ascension of our species… “Through the wall of fire, beyond the limits of the consciousness of the Godhead, we entered the void, and this began the journey of our souls. With great love, this beautiful planet was seeded with the energies of life and all of the potentials for humanity. Angelic beings known as Gaia came here to earth and went deep into it’s consciousness core. Here they embedded the electromagnetic frequencies and the crystalline energies which brought air, fire and water that would give life to the plant and animal kingdoms. It created all life on Earth.” To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time a feature documentary film has been narrated by spirit, as guide and storyteller. Hummingbird Passage It will be one year next month when my Mom crossed over, I still cannot believe she is gone. Not a day goes by that I do not think about her, but I know her spirit is close by. I remember standing in her kitchen that she loved so much, I was faced with the daunting task of gathering her personal belongings she left behind, it seemed very sad to me to look at the things that she treasured, and one of the things she admired were hummingbirds, when I opened some of her cupboards I found what seemed like dozens of hummingbird feeders. I knew of her love of watching these tiny birds in awe as she would have her tea and look out her window. The feeders seem to be everywhere, some new, old, big, small and even tiny. As I walked through the house, I started noticing hummingbird wind chimes, vases, glass hummingbirds and ceramic statues of these precious birds. The memory of this stayed with me and I took a few feeders home intending to use them but have not yet. As days turned into months, I have thought of my Mom quite often and at times I would think of her while sitting at my computer. One day quite to my surprise, I looked out of the window, a hummingbird showed up and flew to the middle of my window suspended in flight looking right in at my family and I. We were

Infinity

delighted and could not believe how long this tiny creature stayed in the same place just staring into our room! We all froze as this bird brought great joy to all of us in the short precious time it stayed in front of the window and then flew off. Of course I did not think about it again until it happened a second time and a third! I did not even make the connection until something else happened that was extraordinary one day. My brother called and I stepped outside with my cell phone as we started talking about Mom and how we missed her, speaking of her house and getting it ready to sell. As I was talking a hummingbird flew within inches to my face, and stayed in flight until I was so excited and became too loud that it flew over to a nearby shrub. I described to my brother what was happening and we both concluded that it was our Mom’s spirit letting us know she is with us! Never had I experienced anything quite so amazing as a hummingbird getting up to my face so close that I finally realized it was a sign. I just cannot believe it took me so long to figure it out. All of us do indeed get caught up in every day stress and daily routines that when something happens so out of the blue and a loved one that has passed is trying to send us a sign or reach us we can overlook it easily until it is truly so obvious it cannot be ignored. Some could say, it was just a coincidence, that’s okay, everyone has the right to their opinions, but I know in my heart that my Mom has found a way to let me know she is near and her spirit lives on. I miss her every single day and I am grateful that now I am aware and I am paying closer attention of the gifts she is sending my way. It touches my heart and helps guide me through the healing process of grief. There is a special closeness I feel now with my Mom and a sense of peace, which to me is one of the most precious things on earth. –J.P.

One definition of communication is “two or more individuals sharing and understanding an idea” (Parelli Principle #3). When you consider this definition in the context of the relationship between a human and an animal, it seems almost impossible to understand how even the possibility of clear communication could exist. But, as we all know, it does. How? The first thing that we have going in our favor is that both we and animals use body language to communicate. We humans tend to rely more on shared verbal or sign language when we communicate with each other, but when it comes to our animals, this can get very tricky. Our cat may not comprehend what “get off the counter top now!” means, but they do observe us having a tense body posture, gesturing hands, grimacing faces, and terse vocalization at that moment. They can tell we are not pleased about something involving them. Over time, if the cat repeatedly gets on the counter top, and we repeatedly ask them to get down in the same way, they come to understand that “off” and “countertop” has something

12

to do with where they are. Being cats, of course, they may or may not choose to please you by getting down. However, you and your cat have communicated. Our animals, no matter if we are talking about a teacup Poodle or a horse or our pet iguana, read our body language and glean a lot of information about us from that. They learn that certain body postures and facial expressions mean we are pleased or upset or relaxed. When we add vocalizations that we repeat consistently in certain situations, they begin to associate those words with the matching body language as our cat did above. What makes this so fascinating is that we learn to read their body language and vocalizations too. For example, if you live with a dog, you come to understand the difference between the body posture and bark of “I see the barn cat!” and “Intruder! Danger!” and “Let’s Play!” If you work with horses, observing their body language, facial expressions, and ear and tail positions tell you a lot about what kind of mood they are in. If you are thinking about riding that same horse, your life may depend upon

Summer’s Twilight 2020

how well you read those signs. For example, if I walk out to the barn to play with and ride Cheyenne, and I am greeted with “grumpy mare face”, I immediately change my game plan accordingly, and spend much more time playing with her on the ground first to see if her mood will lighten up. If not, I’m not going to get on her. Cheyenne and I recently went to Tennessee to participate in a 5 day class with 29 other horses and riders. What I learned during those 5 days, more than anything else, is how to communicate better with my horse. I learned that if I applied constant pressure on the reins to ask her to stop or back up, she would apply constant pressure right back at me as a way of saying “NO I don’t like that!”. Instead, what we learned together is that if I politely lifted the rein, and she did not respond, I released and then gently lifted the rein again, and repeated this until she figured out what I wanted and did it. We had a conversation, instead of behaving like two little kids yelling “NO” at each other. We began to communicate with each other in a way we both liked and understood. By the end of the week, I could ask her to stop by simply focusing on where I wanted her to stop, stopping the riding motion, and sitting still. We indeed were communicating much better together. Riding was a lot more fun for us both. For all of us who love and live with animals, our ultimate goal is to have the best relationship we can with them. In order to do that, we must lead the way by observing them, learning their language (body postures, facial expressions, vocalizations, ear and tail sets), and helping them to better understand ours. Once we understand each other better, we can begin to find a common way to share ideas together. Have fun experimenting with this!

Artist of Life,

Drawing from Within by Patti Lightflower

“(S)he alone has the right to break, for (s)he alone has the power to mend. – Rumi Recently I purchased a designer tee that was advertised as having the worn, vintage look of a favorite piece of clothing. The bottom was already twisted and frayed, and tiny holes were punched into the shoulders in a decorative way. It drew my attention because of the indigo blue artwork of a hand that filled the front against a white background.

fabric and shoes for them from orange peels, which I pretended were leather. I’ve attended art classes at the University of Cincinnati in the 70’s and have studied with textile artists at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as with many other professionals in their studios over the years. My long-time passion has been the study of hands along with their owners, being creative and expressing my artistic side allows for manifesting something tangible whereas reading hands is more esoteric. Patti Lightflower can be contacted at pattilightflower2@gmail.com and more information can be found at her website: https://www. ireadhands.com/

This got me to thinking though about how fashionable it is to wear clothing with torn knees, distressed fabric and faded prints and we buy them in that condition, new. Yet, we rarely mend our clothing these days, except maybe to re-attach a button or close a split seam. Too often these end up in a to do pile and from there to tossing or dust rags. I tend to think everything has a meaning in some way or another for us to interpret. So, what does it say about where we are as a society, that we prefer not to patch up our rips, tatters and tears? Are we coming unraveled?

Wayne Holmes’ Set Your Course shares six months of reflections that will give readers a path to spiritual freedom and help them connect to their soul and inner spirit. Not only does it provide healing from past religious abuse, but also abuse of nearly any form, and beyond that, it provides a path towards taking solid control of one’s religious and spiritual journey.

In the sense that we reap what we sow (or sew), mending and repairing our possessions runs parallel to the mending and restoration of ourselves. Recycling and upcycling unused or worn items are forms of rejuvenation and renewal. This is good feng shui for our homes and for our bodies. Mending is an act of forgiveness and a practice in patience and acceptance. It places hope for another chance in our own hands.

Mr. Holmes’ words resonate way beyond the printed page—they vibrate within your heart as truth. I absolutely LOVE this book! It is the best bridge I have seen joining traditional religion, spirituality, and the spiritual nature of us all. “The integrity of the author in revealing his own story is authentic, reminding me of the humanness of all of our experiences. It wasn’t until I donned a clerical collar that I came to understand how people viewed religious leaders differently. Some were comforted by my presence while others seemed ill at ease. “Before long I realized that many had been damaged through judgment, guilt, rejection, and condemnation by a religion or by someone religious. I’m happy to report that these people do not have to languish in fear, depression, or resentment. “In Every Path Leads Home, Wayne Holmes has created a brilliant and very gentle way out of religious abuse and intolerance into peace, happiness, and personal freedom. “It is a way to heal us all. –Rev. Wayne Holmes’ Every Path Leads Home is a beautiful book of acceptance. Our lives on this plane of existence are of short duration, and we are all “headed home. Different faith experiences define “home differently, and each suggests a path or paths. For anyone who has been abused by the supposed rules and strictures of a church or congregation or pastor, for anyone who has come to see religion not as a faith experience but rather as a set of ironclad rules, for anyone who has grown weary of the struggle to find God by whatever name: Every Path Leads Home is a must-read.

Every Path Leads Home:

As promised here is a photo showing how my apron from an old denim shirt is coming. I folded up the bottom making three large pockets and printed them using blocks that I carved. Next will be deciding how I would like to complete the bib part and add the apron strings. A pocket for glasses or a pen might be just the thing.

Stone Six: Be

by Wayne Holmes

Letting go of past hurts, disappointments, and abuses and letting go of future plans and expectations, I resolve to live in the present moment and simply be. Be present; be open; be available; be with Higher Self. In order to live in the present and simply “be,” we need to let go of the past. There is nothing there for us any longer. Of course, our memories won’t allow us to forget certain things that happened, but we can decide how we will allow them to affect our present and our future. We can look for the good, minimize the bad, and learn lessons that were meant for us. We can let go of our future by releasing it into the hands of the Universe. If we try to control the uncontrollable, we will find disappointment and unhappiness. When we decide to live in the present moment, focusing our attention on the life that is unfolding

before our eyes, we can live in peace, love, and happiness. One secret is to focus on our connection with The Divine and make it the best possible. Recalling we are spiritual beings helps us to stay on the path and remain connected with The Divine, with others, and with ourselves. Live in the moment. Be present, be open, be available, and be with your Higher Self. About the Author: Pastor Wayne Holmes is an ordained minister with Divinity Spiritual Church and also Revelation Spiritual Church. Put This on Your

Honey-Dew List!

Honeydew is a pale green fruit that is juicy and sweet. Although honeydew’s cousin, the watermelon is more popular than honeydew, as it gets invited to nearly every picnic. The honeydew has outstanding nutritious value among the melon family. With very little fat, low in calories, zero cholesterol and lots of fiber, honeydew is helpful to those who want to shed a few pounds. Hydration is key, especially for those who live in warmer climates, honeydew aids in keeping the body hydrated and it is rich in potassium. It is generally best when served cold, added to smoothies or juiced to quench ones thirst on hot sunny days. Loaded with vitamins and minerals, this melon helps boost the immune system. The calcium content this fruit has, helps maintain strong bones and teeth. Honeydew contains important nutrients that improve overall eye health, especially reducing eye degeneration and disorders. Honeydew can regulate insulin production in the body,

16

it is very low in glucose despite its very sweet taste. It can definitely satisfy your sweet tooth cravings and help prevent and treat diabetes by adding this delicious melon to your regular diet. For a more youthful and healthier complexion, consuming honeydew helps repair skin and increase collagen production. This fruit is used to create facial beauty masks to renew and refresh the skin. Honeydew is in season usually between June and October, depending on where a person lives. It can be a little tricky to tell if a honeydew is ripe or not. The color of the rind should be yellow and the bottom of the melon should be a little soft to the touch. Store honeydew melons at room temperature for up to 2 days to ripen them or place them in a closed paper bag, when they are ripe, they can last in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Honeydew can be cut into cubes and frozen for smoothies or the cubes can be pureed and made into frozen treats.

BTestimonial aker Chiropractic I Finally Found Relief From Over 10 Years of Chronic Sinus Infections and Ear Pain

6 months. Even with the tubes, I had 2 additional ear infections. The last ear infection resulted in the tubes being displaced. The ENT allowed my ears to “heal” and started me on an allergy medication. He also recommended that I see an allergist. I began a long road of twice a week allergy injections. The only thing that I received from the allergy injections was that I no longer have a fear of needles! Next, the ENT recommended sinus surgery for new, more solid PE tube placement, and to repair to my deviated septum. I would not recommend sinus surgery to anyone! It was extremely painful and took almost a month to recover from. About a month after surgery, the ENT figured out why I was taking so long to recovery! I developed Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). My follow up CAT scan showed that the sinus surgery was not successful. Due to the infection, more scar tissue had formed in my nose and sinuses. His recommendation? Let’s do the surgery again! I told him that I needed time to consider my options.

Valerie Hobbs and Dr. Patrick Baker

Early one morning, I sent a message to Baker Chiropractic and Wellness. By 4:00 pm that same afternoon I started on my road to recovery. Over 10 years ago, I began having chronic ear and sinus infections. I have 2 older sisters and they both began having ear infections around the same age. They both had PE tubes placed and never had issues with ear infections again. My primary care doctor treated the infections for a while and then recommended that I see an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist. The first ENT told me that adults don’t get chronic ear infections. Basically, he totally blew me off. No treatment was provided! I found another ENT and was taken seriously. Unfortunately, his interventions did not lead to success. He recommended PE tubes and they worked for about

18

About 2 months later, I woke up in excruciating pain. I called my ENT and was informed that he was no longer in practice. I called my PCP and she was able to find me another ENT. The PE tubes, placed two months prior, were no longer in the place. He removed the tubes from the ear canal and told me to see him in 3 months. My PCP finally decided that I should see a SINUS guy! I was thrilled that I would finally get relief from chronic pain and pressure. I had another CAT scan done. All my hopes were short lived. The ENT looked at my CAT scan and said that “if I was looking for surgery then I came to the wrong doctor.” Surgery was the last thing on my mind. But to get relief, I would have gladly had another surgery! The doctor then recommended that I take allegra and a saline spray daily. He assured me that this would relieve all my symptoms! A year later, he was dead wrong! In this past year alone, I have seen a doctor over 20 times! All visits were for my ears or sinuses. Even after all those visits, I still had chronic sinus pain and pressure. That pressure led to multiple ear infections in the past year.

Summer’s Twilight 2020

After too many sleepless nights, I searched and found Baker Chiropractic and Wellness and submitted an appointment request at 4:00 am. I received a response from Danielle by 8:00 am with an appointment that same day. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone was friendly and professional. I got my first adjustment and was amazed that I had some relief. A month later, I have no ear pain! Sinuses are a work in progress but I have 100% faith that they will get better!

Their caring and compassion go beyond anything I have ever experienced! I recently experienced a death of a loved one and was overwhelmed by the support I received from Baker Chiropractic. From a thoughtful touch to a sympathy card, Baker Chiropractic went above and beyond to share my loss. I have never had a doctor that knows so much about me and truly cares!*

My x-rays showed some low back degeneration. I am a nurse and have assumed that back pain was part of the job! I am thrilled to say it is no longer part of the job! Dr. Patrick Baker is heaven sent! He provided me with a thorough understanding of the purpose of chiropractic care and what my x-rays showed. His warm, caring approach is wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Baker and the staff at the West Chester, Ohio Chiropractic Clinic!

The Healing Power of Unconditional Love by Jody Johnston Pawel, LSW, CFLE

Relationships are often challenging, because we so often see things in others that we judge (or are tempted to) or that cause us to feel negatively. It’s especially challenging to unconditionally love and accept people we judge as negative and to have a relationship with them.

in others reflects yourself to you. Now, I really disliked that concept when I first heard it, because I interpreted it to mean whatever quality or characteristic, I didn’t like in others meant I had the same quality or characteristic. Not!

We can try to feel unconditional love for these people, but our judgment creates an inner conflict that blocks it and we end up in a cycle of resistance. So instead trying to make yourself feel unconditional love in the hopes of healing a relationship, just focus on healing yourself. That will help you get you in the flow of unconditional love first. Then, from that state, you can be in relationships with people and not feel so judgmental. If that sounds rather simplistic and trite, consider the often-hidden processes at work. First, it’s helpful to remember that what you see

20

What it means is that you have something within you that needs healed and until it does you may react negatively to people with that quality or characteristic. For example, do you know someone whose behavior “pushes your buttons” but other people don’t seem to be affected by them? That’s because you have something unhealed, so your body has created a trigger to point out anytime you have the opportunity to heal it. Did you get that? They aren’t intentionally trying to push your buttons. Or, if they are, it’s because they get something from it, you need healed in that

Summer’s Twilight 2020

area you react, which gives them a payoff. So, you get targeted instead of someone who doesn’t need healing wouldn’t react. So how do those trigger buttons work and how can you get rid of them? Your body’s natural state is health, peace, and joy. Its prime directive is to seek and maintain this state of balance. Trigger buttons bring to your attention to old baggage that needs cleaned up and healed, to bring the body back into balance. So, bless your trigger buttons and those who push them, because they reveal areas you can heal. When you are triggered, instead of blaming others and getting angry with them for “making” you mad, welcome the opportunity to heal yourself. Whatever it is in them that is triggering something in you is pointing to what needs healed in you, not what’s wrong with them. Yes, sometimes what we see in others is what we don’t want to see within ourselves, but more often we’ve had previous experiences of being hurt by someone like that and are sensitive and cautious about getting hurt again. So, we are defensive and react using protective behaviors.

Each person is different, and each situation can present different challenges within a person. So it might just take a quick “Bless her heart” to help you not be affected by some negative stranger. Or choosing a more helpful interpretation of a situation eases conflict with a coworker. But you might need intense therapy and even neurofeedback over several months to reprogram your brain and body’s reactive patterns when it comes to a mean-spirited relative. Just keep walking in faith and truth will be revealed to you as choices you can make. Always choose the path that is in the direction of light and love and you will be led to the right person, technique, or practice to help you heal that relationship. Little tests may come, to confirm the healing, then another layer or hurt may be revealed. As you get stronger, you’ll heal deeper hurts more effortlessly. And those around you will either come into alignment and unite with you in love or fade away from your life or awareness.

By taking response-ability for looking at your baggage and being open to healing it, you are freed from trigger buttons that are controlling you, restricting your life, and creating more negative energy within you. By freeing yourself of your trigger buttons, you can stay in a state of unconditional love and are more immune to the negativity of others.

A Silver Lining of Pandemic? Keys to Styaing Resilient by Dr. Joeseph Mercola Becoming ‘Antifragile’ During the Pandemic It’s important to note that there are multiple ways to harness a challenging time like a pandemic to make yourself increasingly resilient or, as Siim Land, whom I recently interviewed, puts it, “antifragile.” His latest book, “Stronger by Stress: Adapt to Beneficial Stressors to Improve Your Health and Strengthen the Body,” reviews the important concepts of hormesis and antifragility. “Part of the reason I wrote the book was to help people become more resilient and more robust, because the world we live in is full of unpredictable challenges,” Land says. “Pandemics and viruses are part of them, but there’s also other potential dangers like global warming or fluctuations in temperature, different kinds of physical challenges that have been a part of the human condition for eons. The modern human has become somewhat more fragile towards those things, and this kind of goes to show why most people just overreacted to the coronavirus and were really scared. The book itself was meant to create more resilient people in the face of these unavoidable challenges of life, because you can’t really avoid them. You can’t create this bubble society where everything is perfect. We all come across different kinds of stressors all the time.” Time-restricted eating is one of Land’s favorite tools because it allows you to become metabolically flexible and insulin sensitive, which builds your antifragility. However, there are other methods for staying resilient during the pandemic as well.

Resilience Sends You on an ‘Upward Spiral’ Resilience is the ability to quickly recover from difficulties. It’s an innate toughness that allows you

22

to persevere through challenging times, and it’s something often found among centenarians. Even as times changed, those in the 100-plus crowd kept on living, adapting to and welcoming the new phases of their lives. It’s this fortitude and emotional resilience that has likely played a major role in their longevity — and it’s something you can harness as well, including during the pandemic. Researchers with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Positive Emotions and Psychophysiology (PEP) Lab have been looking into what’s making people happy and resilient, despite the pandemic. They note:13 “Research has found that resilient people — people who handle life’s challenges especially well and who quickly bounce back from setbacks — do not somehow avoid negative states, delusionally thinking everything is fine. Rather, even while feeling stress, anxiety, loneliness and depression, the resilient among us also feel love, gratitude, joy and hope. Our team’s research has also shown that resilience is not a fixed trait. It can be cultivated. Like an upward spiral, resilience increases as people experience more frequent positive emotional states.”

Keys to Staying Resilient After surveying more than 600 U.S. adults about their experiences and behaviors of the past day, some clear trends were revealed. Positive emotions were associated with self-care, such as engaging in a hobby or relaxing, exercising or engaging in spiritual activities, such as prayer or meditation.14 This isn’t entirely surprising, but an important finding was that people who were feeling the most stressed, lonely or anxious benefited the most from these positive, self-care activities. This reiterates how important it is to take time to unwind, especially if you feel you’re nearing burnout. Spending time actively engaging with others also led

Summer’s Twilight 2020

to more positive emotions, and this was true for both introverts and extroverts and was especially beneficial for people who live alone. However, the most positive emotions were gleaned from face-to-face, voice or video interactions — texts didn’t seem to do the trick, with the researchers explaining:15 “Interacting with others doesn’t seem to help much when you can’t actually see or hear the people you are communicating with. This was a useful wake-up call for us. We thought we were doing ourselves good by keeping up via text. But the evidence suggests that this isn’t as valuable as we thought. It’s much harder to establish a meaningful connection with someone via text.” Passively browsing social media, such as scrolling through feeds, did not lead to positive emotions and instead was strongly tied to negative feelings and anxiety. On the other hand, doing good for others was associated with positive feelings — a finding that’s been proven in the past.16

To sum up their data, the PEP Lab researchers suggested the media stop touting the need for “social distancing,” when what’s really needed is physical distancing combined with social solidarity. In order to retain and find your resilience during the pandemic, increased connections are key, and they suggested the following five steps to help society “MARCH” together:

• Minimize passive scrolling through social media • Accept negative emotion • Really connect with people • Care for yourself • Help others

We Are the Twilight by Cynthia White Flower

The summer’s twilight reminds us to walk in faith and embrace the light. The sun is below the horizon, emanating soft, glowing illumination. We are encouraged to realize that there is more to come. It is the light that sustains this moment - a symbol of hope. Twilight says, “I am the consciousness rising.” (1) We are encouraged to look up, recognizing that there is a bright side to every situation. Optimism is the tool, for “You, too, must uphold your faith in the sons and daughters of God in the moment of supreme testing.”(2) Twilight encourages us to know that more light is coming. We are offered a process to assist with the direction of our light: “Visualize electronic light – unformed – with every electron, receptive, obedient, alert, waiting for your message. Then set up a vibration consciously in your feelings. See the energy waves pass out from you in ever widening circles and the obedient electrons

24

start into motion. Choose… a particular quality or a blessing that would benefit…the world and all humans.” (3) Faith propels us. Our thoughts, statements, affirmations, visualizations and prayers are all instruments of change. Accepting the responsibility for holding the light takes tremendous courage and faith, but this is our reason for living. This is our mission. Daily we must act from a place of faith as we hold the balance within our hearts that reverberates in our actions. This is who we are: The Light Bearers. Prayer is a powerful tool of faith. There are four keys for the amplification of our prayers. The first is to call upon the spiritual hierarchy to pray with you. Be specific. You are asking for help. Karmic law says that they cannot step in if you do not ask. The second is to give them authority to act on your behalf. (4) Karmic law says that it is your responsibility. If you give them permission to act on your behalf, they can do so with

your permission under the laws of karma. The third is to request “righteous justice” for who and for what you are praying. (5) Whatever the karma is for that person or situation, we honor the law and pray for the highest good, acknowledging the law in our request. The fourth is to ask for the mitigation of the karma. (6) Is it possible to reduce the severity? We cannot receive if we do not ask.

Now is the time to make a difference. What we hold together in unity, we hold in strength. If we are divided, we stand a good chance of falling together. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” (7) As the unveiling of truth emerges, it is unconditional love that will heal and unite us, aligning with nature one and all.

Leaders in Waiting by Peter Woodsbury, MSW In the background of the Cayce material are many allusions advising us to be prepared for times of change. Those of us who are students of the work have been, consciously or unconsciously, building the skill set to manage change. What is that skill set? Let’s have a look. In my talks around the country, I often make reference to this topic of change and preparation for change. When circumstances are mundane, when life is going along smoothly, everyone basically appears the same. But when a crisis happens, leaders step up. If you’re at a movie theater and the PA system announces that everyone must leave the building, some will follow the orders, some may panic and a few will step up to calmly help lead the evacuation process. That person who was watching the movie nearby, who is now assisting with the evacuation, was a leader in waiting. My theme today is to explore how Cayce has been preparing us for times like these, how we are all leaders in waiting. Let me briefly summarize these important topics and if they pique your interest, you can explore them in depth in other Cayce materials: Physical. The Cayce holistic view of health clearly teaches us that we get ill, for the most part, not because a germ or virus outside of us has attacked us, but because our normal systems of managing health have gotten stagnant or vulnerable. The key to health is not in attacking pathogens, but in building immunity, fostering a healthy body environment. There are several keys. Harold Reilly coined the acronym “C.A.R.E.” for Circulation, Assimilation, Relaxation and Elimination. If we maintain healthy circulation, assimilation, relaxation and eliminations, we will be pretty healthy. Cayce said many times that a key to health is the ability to eliminate toxins and absorb nutrients. He said that in this dynamic, we could, basically, “choose when we die”! Another key to resistance to infection is in maintaining alkalinity. An alkaline environment is very resistant to infection. On the other hand, an acid environment is a hotbed for illness. The key to maintaining alkalinity

is to eat predominantly vegetables. There! Now you know the Cayce’s “secret” for maintaining physical health! Mental. Cayce teaches that the mind is alive, in a way. And that it needs to be fed. If it isn’t fed properly, it will forage for itself. And we all know that “mind is the builder”. Every building depends on the quality of the materials used to build it. Here Cayce advises us to feed the mind a spiritual ideal. If we feed the mind consistently with “fruits of the spirit” (such as patience, kindness, love or peace), then the mind will use that to build that consciousness in our lives. Our lives will be more patient, kind, loving and peaceful. In the void of a spiritual ideal, the mind will feed on the material, on material ideals. We will follow an ideal that is convenient and feels good. I call this “the potato chips of the ego”. This will not lead to a healthy consciousness. Spiritual. The Cayce work is full of reminders of how we are basically spiritual beings having a material existence and how we have largely forgotten that reality. The key is to awaken the sleeping pattern of oneness. We awaken this oneness pattern by entering the inner temple and listening to the still small voice within and then acting from that consciousness of oneness. We are told that in prayer, we talk with God, and in meditation we listen to God. Then we must take what we are hearing and becoming and then apply it in our lives. The whole law is in loving God above all else and then applying that thru loving your neighbor as thyself. In meditation, prayer, silence and in nature we come to know God and love God. As we become more Godlike, then we will act more Godlike and loving with ourselves and with others. If we maintain this balance of a healthy body, a spiritually informed mind and an abundance supply of the “bread and water of life” within, we will, for the most part, maintain health. Let us now look at humanity as an organism, as a oneness. Let’s think of ourselves as a cell in the body of humanity alive on the Earth at this time. How is our collective physical, mental and spiritual health? As a humanity, how are we doing physically? Are we eating well, drinking pure

Summer’s Twilight 2020

water, resting and relatively anxiety free? Mentally, do we as a people turn often within, in silence and in meditation? Spiritually, are we guided by spiritual ideals? Are we thinking more and more of others? Are we sharing? Are we acting as our brother’s and sister’s keepers? I can’t really speak for other countries, but in our country we carry a lot of stress. We have ready and easy access to foods that aren’t of the highest nutritional value. Our water is treated for the most part. Many struggle to make ends meet. It seems that sleep disorders, like insomnia, are on the rise. And as far as ideals, are we driven by a spiritual consciousness of love for brother and sister? Our world seems very competitive. For example, Cayce said that the “bread basket” of the United States could feed the world. Has that happened? So in current time, we are confronted with a pandemic. If a body is not taking care of itself physically, mentally and spiritually, it becomes vulnerable to illness. While the rush is on for a vaccine, it might be wise to consult the Cayce information as well. When the body becomes ill, Cayce advised what I have stated earlier such as alkalinizing, meditating, praying and resting. But we also know that “the Lord moves in mysterious ways”. We are very beloved by our Creator and always guided by the Unseen towards healing. In response to the pandemic, many nations are asking, even mandating, its citizens to socially isolate. To stay home. Schools are closing. Offices closing. Sports cancelled. Restaurants shut down. All the things that distract us are being taken away. What we are left with is alone time and family time. We must stay home with our loved ones and get reacquainted. We can also sleep more. What a body needs most when compromised is rest. I know that many, myself included, are taking significant financial hits at this time, which is indeed stressful. But might this forced pause be a chance to actually start meditating regularly? To pray? To look at the arc of your life and see where it is headed? Research has shown that stress is a predictive factor for every disease that they have been able to study. A regular meditation practice reduces every measurable indicator of stress in the body. It might be a good time to deepen your meditation practice.

I remember reading those early books about people that had recovered from a deadly illness, and they oftentimes would say things like, “The diagnosis of cancer was the best thing that ever happened to me!” Or people who had a near death experience (NDE) and they’d report how the NDE shifted and spiritualized their lives for the better. The message is oftentimes to work less and spend more time with family, more time in joy. You never see written on a gravestone, “I wish I had worked more!” There are times in life when we get a wake-up call, where we are awakened to the fact that we aren’t headed in the best direction, that we might want to recalibrate. That’s what the cancer survivor meant. Cancer was a wake-up call, the NDE was a wake-up call, alerting them to a pathological lifestyle. Could it be possible that in the midst of this Coronavirus situation, that we are all getting a wake-up call, a pause, a time to reflect? What choices do you have? What options are there? In our hectic daily lives, it might be very hard to find the space to stop and think, where we can only attend to what is urgent, never able to get to what is important. Remember when there was a blizzard, a prolonged blackout, or some other forced stoppage of routine? People went outside and got to know each other. It was a pause. And then we might have been slightly sad when things went back to “normal”. This current pause, though, is actually calling us inward. Not to socializing with neighbors, but into isolation. Forced isolation with yourself and your loved ones. What will you do with your pause? Buy up all the toilet paper you can find? Or might you “give God a chance”, as Cayce advised? This pause will be over sooner than you know it. I have a feeling there will be some books written about the awakenings that happened during this pause. And many of us will miss this pause that passed all too quickly. So take the time to deepen your spiritual attunement. Then as Cayce students, just know that this information is life changing. We might take it for granted as we have been working with it for years. (Continued on pg. 28)

The Illusion of Our Choices

But many don’t know about it. Crisis has a way of opening people up. The consciousness that you have been building is needed in these times. Be that beacon of peace in the confusion, that others may ask you, “How can you be at peace at a time like this?” Seize the opportunity to guide people inward. And as He advised, “feed my lambs, feed my sheep” that everyone might find the sources of wellness within. I will end with a reference to the renowned author Gabriel Garcia Marquez”: May we all find “Love in the time of Coronavirus”!

by Jill Mattson People ingest sound like you eat food. We don’t just consume with our mouths, but with all of our five senses. We turn into what we tune into. Music is energy, just like food. Before and after you listen to a song, you can look at all of the frequencies in your body and observe tiny changes after listening for just a few minutes. After learning about BioAcoustics from pioneer Sharry Edwards, a whole new world opened up for me. I discovered that all of my favorite songs are in the key signature of D. Who would think that the key signature in music is something that merits a thought? Yet, I feel great when I listen to music in just one key signature. My body releases endorphins when it hears what it needs for optimum functioning. I am not conscious of it, but my body is aware of the amount of a particular note within a song, aka a key signature. That is amazing. My conscious mind is unaware that a key signature is a genuine reason for my musical preference. My conscious mind makes up stories as to why I like this song or the other. I believe in my rational mind, but the deeper reason is that I need a specific frequency or energy for health and well being. Yet my body knows what type of strength I need for health and that I can get that from a song with certain frequency combinations. Wow. Who is smarter than who? I think music is entertainment, while my body knows that it is also energy, an energy that is useful energy for my physical, emotional, and mental functioning. My body knows that I am unaware and directs me with either pleasure or pain. Who is calling the shots? How can something like my body, that I didn’t even know was conscious, be more aware than I? As an example, I am developing arthritis, but the symptoms have not kicked in yet. I am unaware that I am developing arthritis, but my body is. My brain broadcasts tiny frequencies out of my ears called

otoacoustic emissions. My body sends sound signals, with volumes too low to hear, telling my body what to produce to combat or overcome an issue, such as arthritis. Diagnosis and solution are in place, yet I remain blissfully ignorant. My body is not me. It is the container for my soul. I co-inhabit with this beautiful gift from nature, my body, as long as I am alive. My body knows my consciousness intimately well – yet I am clueless about the awareness that my body has. Easily I think we are the same consciousness, and we are not. In another example, my body knows when I can’t handle any more bad news. It takes the negative emotional energy and stores it for a time when I can sort it through and hopefully release it. Meanwhile, I want to be a good person, so I tell myself and others that I had no problems forgiving this person or putting a bad experience behind me. Simultaneously, my body is dealing with all the pain from this situation that I can’t handle. This negativity is making the body’s job of keeping me healthy harder. I am completely unaware that there is even negative energy that I have not addressed. While I watch TV, my body is running my organs, circulatory system, digestive system metabolic process, and so much more. I am unaware. The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev discovered that DNA stores data like a computer’s memory system. Not only that, but our genetic code uses grammar rules and syntax in a way that closely mirrors the human language! The structuring of DNA-alkaline pairs follows a “grammar” pattern. Are words verbalizations of our DNA? Does my body understand English? The team discovered that spoken words could change living DNA. They transmitted information from one DNA to another: they transformed frog embryos into salamander embryos from sound alone. This is why affirmations and hypnosis are such a powerful influence on us. Our DNA responds to language. i Does my body listen in on my statements? When I

say over and over that “I am sick and tired”, does it deliver to me what I ordered? It is finally dawning on me that my body is more conscious and aware than I am. My body understands things, more complex stuff than I know about. My body works for me all the time, tirelessly working to remain in perfect health. Yet, how eagerly I complain about being fat, my eyebrows are crooked, or ankles are fat. I don’t even have kind things to say to this tireless and loving friend, that I never thank. Now I am more aware. I know my body is conscious, separately from me. And I have no better friend in the whole wide world!
