and Parliamentarians from ACT, amplifying the festival's cultural resonance. Makar Sankranti, a Hindu festival, traditionally observed on January 14 each year, marks the transition of the sun from Sagittarius

to Capricorn. It embodies a celebration of new beginnings, renewal, and the vibrant spirit of Indian traditions, captivating hearts and minds across the Canberra community.
