Tamil Association organizes Australia Day

The Tamil Association (QLD) Inc.organized the celebration of Australia Day, recently. Many dignitaries and guests from the Indian diaspora were enthusiastically present on the occasion. Some of the dignitaries addressed the audience and talked about the importance of celebrating Australia Day. Games and contests, one of them being the Carrom Board contest, were also organized on the occasion. Prizes were given to the winners. Children also participated in the Australia Day celebrations with enthusiasm, waving the nation’s flag.
