India, Australia review cooperation under Comprehensive Strategic Partnership New Delhi, May 24 (IANS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese on May 24 reviewed the multidimensional cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Yasin Malik sentenced to life in terror funding case
India logs 2,628 fresh Covid cases, 18 deaths New Delhi, May 26 (IANS): India saw an uptick in Covid-19 cases with 2,628 infections being recorded in 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry's data on May 26.
New Delhi, May 25 (IANS): Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik, who has been convicted in connection with a 2017 terror funding case, was sentenced to life on May 25 by a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court here. Special Judge Praveen Singh pronounced the verdict under relevant sections of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act which will be concurrent and it will run till life.
In the same period, 18 Covid fatalities were recorded taking the nationwide death toll to 5,24,525.
