New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 21 provided a new mantra for Covid management -- 'Jahan Bimar Wahan Upchar'. (Where there is illness, there is remedy as well) Modi said that bringing Covid treatment to the patient's doorstep will reduce the burden on the health system. international students Adelaide, May 24 (IANS): Universities in the state of South Australia (SA) have issued a plea to the federal government to allow international students to return to the country.

According to data released on May 24, international enrolments in SA's universities have dropped by 33 per cent amid the coronavirus pandemic, crippling their budgets, reports Xinhua news agency.

University’s Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), said the fall was “deeply concerning” for universities and the broader SA economy, calling for the “urgent activation” of a plan for the arrival of international students. “This could include dedicated quarantining facilities for international students to ensure their return doesn’t affect general repatriation efforts,” he told News Corp Australia on May 24. Canberra, May 15 (IANS): The first repatriation flight from India landed in Australia on May 15 after the government's controversial travel ban to the Covid-battered country ended.

New Delhi, May 23 (IANS): With 2,40,842 fresh cases of Covid-19, India on May 23 witnessed the lowest rise in infection since April 21, even as 3,741 people died due to the pandemic on May 22, according to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
