Solenoid Valve Technology Norgren offers a number of safe, reliable and costeffective integrated solenoid valve solutions specifically designed for upstream, downstream & chemical applications. From the control of safety critical pneumatic and hydraulic actuators to the the direct handling of aggressive gases and liquids.

Our valves are manufactured with hazardous area certified coils and a broad range of materials to suit the environmental and application specifications. High Integrity Hydraulics The requirements for hydraulically actuated well heads, ESD valves or HIPPS systems are such that valves can remain in a fixed position for months or even years at a time. This introduces particular demands on the hydraulic system; requirements for solenoid valves with virtually zero leakage, coils that can remain 100% energised without failing and in particular, solutions that can be relied upon to operate on demand, even after extended periods of time. Hydraulic Manifold Systems Manifold systems can be designed as a system manifold or additionally as a redundant manifold system (RVM). RVM's are designed; to increase safety (1oo2) by ensuring that a process can be shut down even if a solenoid valve were to fail open, to increase uptime (2oo2), by ensuring that a process can continue to run if a solenoid valve failed closed, or to satisfy both requirements with a single integrated design (2oo3).
