International news ILWS researchers are key contributors to two reports that have made headlines around the globe. Professor Lee Baumgartner is one of the authors of the Living Planet Index for Migratory Fish published by the World Fish Migration Foundation and the Zoological Society of London which has found that migratory freshwater fish are declining globally by dramatic rates. Read more Associate Dale Nimmo is one of 10 authors of an interim report for WWF Australia, Australia’s 2019-2020 Bushfires: The wildlife toll, which estimates more than 3 billion Australian animals were killed or displaced as a result of the devastating summer bushfires. Profiles This issue we profile two ILWS members, Associate Professor Andrew Peters, and Associate Professor Faye McMillan, both based at the Wagga Wagga campus. Andrew is a wildlife health scientist and Faye an Indigenous health researcher. Both are very passionate about their work and both bring diverse research skills and interests to the Institute.
