Hotel “El Molino”
Winner of the Proyecta 23 competition, November 2023 edition, in the category of “Medium Complexity Participatory Architecture”
Winner of the Proyecta Award at the Proyecta 23 competition, November 2023 edition.
The hotel “El Molino” is located in Parras, Coahuila, and is integrated within the ruins of an old mill.
One of the main design criteria during the intervention was to maximize the use of existing structures by giving them new purposes. In the mill, a double façade was implemented to respect the original structure, with balconies on the second level allowing light to enter and openings on the third level to take advantage of the surrounding mountain views. The concept prioritized pedestrian circulation and sought a harmonious connection between the old and the new, with a program that aligns with the surrounding environment.

The adjacent buildings of the mill will highlight the wine industry of Parras with a restaurant, tasting area, wine shop, and event hall. Hotel guests will also be able to enjoy a clubhouse. This project not only aims to showcase the winemaking tradition of Parras but also to create a top-tier tourist destination where history and modernity intertwine to offer an unforgettable experience. The concept prioritized pedestrian circulation and sought a harmonious connection between the old and the new, with a program that is coherent with the surroundings.

Punto Centro
Mixed-use project for RTRES.
Punto Centro is a commercial development executed in collaboration with Grupo RTRES, strategically located at the corner of the site earmarked for the “Tres Olmos” development in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The design process focused on creating architectural cohesion with the existing Tres Olmos project while offering users a recreational environment that caters to individual needs. The project also seeks to rejuvenate the area by incorporating elements and amenities characteristic of the Carretera Nacional, all without exposing users to the traffic flow.
To activate the street level and promote pedestrian engagement, an underground parking facility was integrated into the design. The commercial complex features 30 retail units, each with distinct dimensions.
At Punto Centro, the incorporation of micro-environments within the central plaza enhances the user experience, fostering a sensory connection between the built environment and natural elements through a thoughtful interplay of architecture and landscape design.

Vista House
Tiny House, Volume Zero Architecture and Design Competition.
Housing is more than just a physical structure; it is an intimate and personal environment that must be tailored to our needs. In a constantly evolving world, it has become a multifunctional space where we spend increasing amounts of time, emphasizing its significance for both productivity and relaxation.
The design challenge involved creating a dwelling with a maximum footprint of 27 square meters, transportable on a truck, while adhering to a specified program and incorporating a distinctive value proposition.
Our clients are a young couple: a sculptor with a deep connection to natural materials and a painter inspired by landscape art. Their spatial requirements and artistic sensibilities were central to the design process.
