I feel that I engaged greatly with the culture during my time abroad. Right from the beginning once school began, I took the initiative to join a student organization called MUSEX (Melbourne University Student Exchange Society). I worked in a child development center (like a daycare) and an elderly care facility studying social services. There were many buildings and temples that had that traditional Korean architecture that was so grand and magnificent.
