Author's training course that aims to teach students without basic training in graphic design to create their own zine. The course is presented in the form of a book, which contains the main theoretical concepts of the layout of a multi-page publication, practical tasks, tips and examples, both historical and modern. The course consists of 4 parts and 27 lessons: Images, Typography, Materials and Technologies, and Something else about zines. Each part is dedicated to a specific topic, which is studied on the principle of "from simple to complex". At the end of the training, the student has the basic concepts of graphic design and practical skills. The book is supplemented with templates for the Adobe InDesign, which can be used when working with tasks. The course is suitable for both group and independent study.
