FROM THE PRINCIPAL Commissioning of Year Six Students This morning our Year Six students were commissioned as Leaders…

DEAR PARENTS It is fantas c to see the children developing increasing independence and con dence in their new year level, in their new class with a new teacher and some new classmates. The start of something new is o en exci ng and requires us to further extend our learning as we strive to reach goals that might provide an ‘extra’ challenge. Whatever the challenge we know that as Nurtured Learners they will con nue to develop their skills, knowledge, gi s and talents. In our school community we believe that people who are nurtured feel safe and are con dent to take risks. At Infant Jesus School it is important that teachers, students and parents feel that they are ‘part of something’ and that we support each other in our learning journey. Each day we strive to nurture the whole person to seek the truth through the teachings of Christ in Faith, Hope and Love. We aim to maximise learning and growth to develop the beliefs, values, a tudes, knowledge, skills and prac ces to enable all to become responsible, re ec ve contribu ng members of God’s family. The culture within our Catholic school permeates all aspects of school life and students ourish when all aspects work together. Our policies, prac ce and curriculum implementa on focus on each child, knowing that they are a precious gi from God created as an individual with his or her own unique gi s, talents and abili es.
